How would you describe your organization’s enterprise-wide digital transformation strategy? Our organization is driving digital transformation across two fronts: building a digital services business and transforming into a digitized enterprise. The first front focuses on creating value for customers through new digital propositions and experiences. The second transforms how we run the business internally, by building an end-to-end agile model through digital technologies and streamlining of underlying processes through techniques such as lean, automation and robotics.

Which targets does your organization have to guide this strategy? In running a successful digital transformation, it is imperative to have a balanced set of KPIs that can steer an organization. Our set of KPIs target both strategic and operational levels and are cascaded from top to bottom to drive impact and achieve desired outcomes.

Digital transformation is not just about changing processes and technology; it also involves a shift in organizational culture. How is your teamwork changing and what’s your role as a team leader? In the digital age, developing a collaborative culture is critical. As an organization, we are evolving to participate more meaningfully in broader networks of collaboration, learning and innovation. This collaboration happens outside the boundaries of our organization, for example, with customers, technology providers and suppliers. As a leader, it is important to create the platform for teams to collaborate as co-creators and thereby deliver success together, through this effort.
