1. The Hurricane Hunters fly into the eye of the storm to gather information and relay it back to the mainland.

2. There are rough winds outside the hurricane, but once inside the eye, the weather is calm and peaceful.

3. By providing an eyewitness account and looking down at the surface of the water, humans can tell certain things about the speed and direction of the storm that computers cannot.
