What’s Going On?

There are so many great ac�vi�es planned for all of the Guests, Scouts and Guides to

enjoy, these ac�vi�es are organised by the ever so wonderful Rovers and assisted by the

Venturers.

Rover Fun Night

Yesterday some of our wonderful sponsors arrived for a tour of

Agoonoree followed by a"ernoon tea. At the a"ernoon tea people

who have a#ended Agoonoree for ten years received cer�ficate to

commend their hard work. Then those who have a#ended for

fi"een years received their new scarf with a yellow strip.

Congratula�ons to Shaun Sandilands (V.C), Andrew Coop

(Equipment Coordinator,) and Tanya Moodie (Administra�on) on

15 year Service and Tom Wixted, Chase Brodie, Cassy Carr, Carole

Howle#, and Nick Watson for 10 years service

Games galore! it’s a well known fact that rovers know

how to have a good �me, and last night they did not

disappoint. One scout, Marcus from yellow troop said

that all the ac�vi�es were energe�c and engaging .

Fun for guests, scouts and even the rovers! Marcus’

favourite ac�vity involved trying to knock each other

over a can. A classic.

Engineering 101—This

ac�vity tests your logic

and abili�es with its

many ac�vi�es involving

a lot of structuring.

Chemistry—Chemistry is

an ac�vity which blows

you away, this ac�vity

includes exploding film

canisters. This will be

lots of fun entertaining

your guests and

yourselves!

Fluid Dynamics—Be

prepared to get wet!

This ac�vity is super fun

and is enjoyed by all.

This ac�vity includes: a

water slide, sponge

fights, going to the pool

and making rain s�cks.

Defying gravity—oh em

geeeeeee abseiling,

what a blast! This

ac�vity is super fun and

exci�ng for everyone.

You will always be

happy when you see a

smile on your guests

face!

The Weather Watch

A good scien�st would never rule out a

probability but, it is likely that both Monday

and Tuesday will be warm weather. It could be

hot, so best be prepared with your hat on your

head and sunscreen on your face.

Patrol of the day

The patrol of the day is the Grey Camels!

In this patrol we have Dylan, Raph, Rhys,

Nick, Lachlan and their guest Robert.

Robert is also our guest of the day!

His favourite ac�vity so far is the water

slide—he had 3 goes! He also loved the

chariot and sponge ac�vi�es at the

“Fluid Dynamics” base—water ac�vi�es!

Tomatoes, FOR or AGAINST? Dragon Patrol

from Blue Troop set us a task to discover

what Agoonoree believes about the

consump�on of tomatoes. Is it appropriate

to eat a tomato raw, like an apple? We

surveyed to find the truth:
