THE WICKED SHALL NOT INHABIT THE EARTH

Wickedness takes many forms and at different times; however, the greatest wickedness facing the Righteous at present, and I speak of the nation of America and the world, is the religion of Islam. Yet, I’m afraid that the leaders of our nation do not really know or understand what the religion of Islam actually is. This is the type of ignorance that can kill you. The following will be some simple facts that all need to know. It is derived from “Cullen’s Find on Islamization, adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat.” Dr. Hammond said, “Islam is not merely a religion, nor is it merely a cult; in its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social and military components. The religious component is a beard so to speak, for all of the other components. “Islamization begins where there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious rights. When politi-cally correct, tolerant, and cultur ally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious rights, some of the other components tend to creep in as well. Here’s how it works: “As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in the following nations:

United States – Muslim 0.6% Australia – Muslim 1.5% Canada – Muslim 1.9%

In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend Madrasses, wherewith the basic fundamentals of education, they are also taught to hate. Muslim Imams and extremists exercise more power, far more power, than the government of the country, which has little or no control over the Muslim sectors at all. “Presently approximately 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world’s population. But their birthrates dwarf the birthrates of Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, and Jews, and all other Believers for that matter. If such birthrates continue, Muslims will exceed 50% of the world’s population by the end of the Twenty-first Century.”1

Again I state, most governmental leaders do not know or realize the intent of Islam until it’s too late. The evangelization of the world for Islam is the goal of every Muslim. They mean to achieve that end by any means. Many may wonder as to why there have been no more terror attacks in the U.S.A. since September 11, 2001 (9/11)? The reason is simple! The Muslims are making far greater headway by other means than they have been by terror. Our gov-ernment is placating them, building bridges to them, so-called, in other words, literally inviting them to ulti-mately take control of this nation, even as they are taking control of other nations around the world. At a certain point, even as we have already described, their true nature and intent will manifest itself. While all Muslims aren’t murderers, the truth is, all Muslims, that is, if they are true Muslims, are in sympathy with the terrorists. Will we wake up before it’s too late? If the truth is to be told, the only thing that can save America, and I mean the only thing, is an old-fashioned, back to the Cross, Revival. The nation is foundering, which means it’s fastly losing its way, and because the church has lost its way. Peter said:

As most of you know music and singing form an inte-gral part of the worship experience and, most important of all, the spreading of the Gospel by FAMILY WORSHIP CeNTeR all over the world . There are two parts to this:

Remember, a one-world religion is necessary for a one-world order . With this in mind, let’s look further into Rick Warren’s plans . His “pEACE plan,” is designed to defeat the five “global giants” of the world (spiritual emptiness, corrupt leadership, poverty, disease, and il-literacy), and Warren has worked hard to convince the church that this endeavor is part of the Christian faith and duty . But, was this really the duty assigned to Believ-ers by Christ? No! The Great Commission given to the church was to preach the Gospel to the world, and we were given authority over the hindering spirits of the world to do such! Christians needed this authority so that the Message of the Cross could be spread . evil and corrupt governing forces are a foe to the True Gospel, not a friend! But, through the prayers, Faith, and Message of His Servants, the Lord can meet the needs of people and nations . As the Word of God is spread, miracles, healings, and deliverances follow . The Bible never said that the church would bring peace to the world by join-ing sociopolitical organizations, doing manual labor, or performing volunteer work! Rather, the Power of God, working through the Message of the Cross, was to meet the needs of those who would accept Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord .

SoCIAL ACTIoN!

But, Rick Warren allows the True Gospel Message to take a backseat while he insists that defeating the “global giants” is worth any cost . In the name of “mis-sions,” he is allowing social action to take precedence above all else, but this is not real mission work . Again, real Christian “missions” are the spread of the Gospel .

Many Believers were martyred in past centuries for the uncompromised message of Truth they preached, not for ending world hunger . Nevertheless, he focuses his followers on the “global giants,” saying they are so big everybody has failed to solve them, including even the United States and United Nations . He claims that the reason nobody has solved these problems is because the solution needs a “three-legged stool” – strong healthy government, strong healthy businesses, and strong healthy churches . He says that these three legs, work-ing together as one, are necessary for any nation to have stability! He explains: “I am going from country to country teaching business its role, teaching church its role, and teaching government leaders their role because you have to work together. We cannot solve the problems in your country or the world if we won’t work together.” Insisting that every leg of the stool is necessary to support a single seat, has anyone stopped to consider just what authority we are enthroning? Utopian dreams can end in total slavery; don’t be naive . And again, where is this plan found in Scripture?

WAKE-UP ChURCh!

These are clearly the plans of a mere man and, there-fore, without any godly authority! Wake-up church! Who are you serving? Another voice has led you astray, and because this plan is not found in Scripture, you will find yourself serving another . Bear in mind, it is the Antichrist who will attempt to rule a quasi-religious dictatorship . This wicked man will even come in the name of peace, “by peace shall destroy many” (Dan . 8:25) . up on the wrong team! You see, for the globalists, “unity” is the name of the game! Compare the as-sertions of Rick Warren to that of John Foster Dulles, CFR leader, who predicted that the social structure of a “just world society” would be modeled on the prototypes of totalitarian countries like Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany . Dulles, as one of the chief architects and propagators of this movement, “became convinced that the use of propa-ganda was essential in shifting public opinion in America from its traditional isolationist stance to a new policy of interdependence.” In the ensuing highly-orchestrated campaign to change public opinion, Dulles and other CFR moguls worked to transform the ideology of the churches . Dulles authored an essay printed in several publications entitled, “The problem Of peace In A Dynamic World.” Commenting on this Dr . erdmann writes: “Dulles outlined the basic concepts of peaceful change and attacked what he regarded to be an unhealthy and obsolete concept of national sovereignty . . . Human egotism could only be offset, he asserted, by superseding it with ‘some senti-ment more dominant and gripping, which would contain the elements of universality as against particularity.’ no other organization would be as uniquely quali-fied to accomplish this task as the church . Dulles idealized the christian church as an exemplary community which had demonstrated the ability to transcend the limitations of the nation state .” His goal was to motivate the churches to become actively involved in building a global society . You can easily see his plans are not about Jesus Christ but the social gospel designed for a one-world religion! Last year, Rick War-ren stunned many Bible-believing Christians by joining the board of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, which is as blatantly one-world and interfaith as any organization we know of today . This move came sometime after he joined the pro-UN Council on Foreign Relations . In December 2007, Tony Blair converted to Catholicism . On May 29, 2008, according to ITN, Blair remarked that he “wants to dedicate his life to uniting the world’s religions .” He went on to say, “faith is part of our future, and faith and the values it brings with it are an essential part of making globalization work .” May 30, 2008 was his formal announcement of the Tony Blair faith foundation, its purpose to bring “unity” between Christianity, Islam, Judaism, hinduism, Buddhism, and the Sikh religion . For Blair, “religion is the new politics .” He said, “Religious faith will be of the same significance to the 21st Century as political ideology was to the 20th Century.”

gLoBALIzATIoN?

Another globalist aspect of Tony Blair is the fact that he is the Middle east peacemaker (the official emissary of the United States, the european Union, the United


Nations and Russia) . Tony Blair is both thoroughly glo-balist and a convert to Catholicism . In an article about Blair, Time Magazine said, “In a sense, the Catholic Church has long embodied the attributes of globaliza-tion that now engage Blair.” Because of the global order being formed, “unity” must also be a part of the new gospel that is being preached to the church . But, all this “unity” is unbiblical! There is a type of unity taught in the Bible, but it refers only to the unity of belief and doctrine . There is no biblical unity with unbelievers and/or false doctrine . god unifies and creates a body of people based on his Truth, and it is only those people who will be able to work together to serve his True Cause. “ . . . They shall be one in My hand” (ezek . 37:19) . You see, the natural result of Believers associating with the world and/or the apostate church is that they will soon discover they cannot preach against sin . If they do, the great and wonderful “unity” will quickly be broken . Unbelievers do not want to hear about their sins and idolatry . They do not want to be told, “Repent!” In circumstances of false unity, one group of people will end up influencing the other, and the chances are, Believers will end up compromising their position of Truth . your methods can change your message! And if you change your message, remember, it is considered willful sin! Paul tells us in I Corinthians 15:33, “Be not deceived (the statement actually says, ‘Do not go on being deceived!’ meaning that many Corinthians had already been deceived into believing there was no Resurrection): evil communi-cations corrupt good manners (should have been translated, ‘evil occasions corrupt excellent morals’).”

EvERy WINd of doCTRINE!

“Every wind of doctrine” pushes its audience this way and that; few Christians are able to resist it . For years, false teachings have moved the church in a wrong direc-tion . Many precious Christians started off with good intentions only to find themselves shipwrecked alongside the others they befriended . Standing for the Truth and giving a good defense of the gospel is more important to god than friendships that could cause you to compromise the gospel . It is the Truth of Scrip-ture that matters first, not the popularity of a ministry or preacher . Jesus told the people the Truth even though it offended the religious crowd . Nothing has changed today . If you stand for the Truth of Scripture, those who are exposed will always respond in anger . Just expect it! But, one only has to look at the condition that the world is in today to see that Warren’s “mission” plan has not succeeded . Our government is in its worst shape since it was founded . Business is so full of corruption that it is in total disarray, and the church is anything but healthy . Overall the church in America is weak and weary – not

strong, not well, not healthy! Her voice is diminishing because the Message has been so watered down! The church’s integrity is lost, her leaders are not leading . There are damnable doctrines that have been brought into the church today as part of modern religious ideas . In all of Rick Warren’s “pEACE plan,” the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not mentioned, because in order to partner with the other religions of the world, it had to be left out . Again, unbiblical methods end up changing the Message!

ThE fINIShEd WoRK of ThE CRoSS

The preaching of Christ’s Death, Burial, and Res-urrection would be an offense to those who believe other methods for salvation and living . The Muslims and the Hindus would not partner with anyone if the True Gospel Message is the focal point . And, as Warren knows well, others will be offended too . Look at this compromise that he makes in order to further his agenda . According to OneNewsNow, “Warren re-cently apologized to his homosexual friends for making comments in support of California’s proposition 8, and (claimed) he ‘never once even gave an endorsement’ of the marriage amendment . . . However, just two weeks before the November 4, proposition 8 vote, pastor Warren issued a clear endorsement of the mar-riage amendment while speaking to church members. ‘We support proposition 8 – and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support proposition 8. . . .” Actually, the whole premise of the five giants of the world is untrue . There is only one giant that needs to be defeated, and that is sin . Sin is what produces all these other problems . The entire cause of every crisis of mankind is sin, and until it is addressed as such, man’s problems will continue! What we really see here is not the Truth of the Bible being taught but rather a change agent at work shift-ing the hearts of men away from Jesus to “another Jesus.” The True Jesus and His Finished Work at the Cross is the only remedy, and unless the world accepts this, we will always have poverty, disease, illiteracy, corrupt leadership, and spiritual emptiness .

SERvINg SELf

Jesus Christ and His Redeeming Power to save men from their evil ways is being replaced by the false gos-pel of servitude. Serving man rather than serving Jesus Christ is the message of today’s false prophets . Of course, they will deny such, but their fruits prove otherwise . Another false gospel of servitude is the Word of Faith teaching on positive confession . It involves serving “self” rather than Christ . “Christian” TV has become the medium for the money gospel; for the

most part, they have a monopoly on “Christian” air waves . They preach and teach a scheme they call “seed faith” and that such is the means for health and pros-perity when, in fact, the seed faith principle when taught right is Scriptural. I think we could call the modern variety a Ponzi scheme . They take money from faithful Christians only to use it for themselves . These false preachers become richer while the average layman becomes poorer . For years, their teachings have moved the church in the wrong direction, affecting evangelism, Discipleship, and Tithing . Tithing has, in fact, been re-defined by this crowd . People are no longer giving to God because they love Him and want to help further the Message of Jesus to a hurting and dying world . People are now giving to get rich! This is indisputably the rotten fruit of a man-made gospel! Indeed, we have every wind of doctrine being preached through the airwaves and in the churches today . All of this is, of course, being preached by men who claim to be Spirit-filled anointed prophets and apostles . In reality, they are without the Spirit, have become carnally minded, and/or have succumbed to seducing spirits . The Bible says if preachers do not speak according to the Word, they have no light in them . Isaiah 8:20 states: “To the Law and to the Testimony: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them . (The great question should always be, and about any situation, ‘Is it Biblical?’)” Believers, you are responsible to follow God’s Word, not your favorite personality or the man who’s telling you what you want to hear! Your heart must fully desire the Truth, or the wrong desires still left in your heart will pull you away from the Faith!

With many it is the worship of ‘self .’ even in christendom, idols are plentiful, although in a different form than during the time of Joshua . (from this chap-ter, we learn that Joshua stood in the Office of the Prophet . We find the proof of this in Verses 2 and 27 . In fact, everything between these two Verses, and including those Verses, is prophetic .)

(It was the Will of the lord that Israel would spend a short period of time in the wilderness, in order that they might learn faith and trust in him . That time frame would have been approximately 2 years; however, they instead would spend approximately 40 years in the wilderness because of unbelief . of this, God doesn’t change; he rewards obedience, and brings Judgment on disobedience) .”

The Hebrew name “Joshua” is “Jesus” in the Greek . So, the Joshua who would lead the Children of Israel into the Promised Land was a prefigurement of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who leads the Child of God into the Spiritual Promised Land . Many have thought that the Land of Promise was a type of Heaven; it is not . It is a physical type of the Spiri-tual Inheritance given to us in this great Christian walk . As there were Jebusites, Hivites, Canaanites, and others in the Land of Promise; in Heaven, there are no enemies of God or God’s People there . As Joshua “took the land,” we too are to “take the land” as it regards our Spiritual Inheritance . Though there be many enemies that cannot be conquered in the natural, however, if we follow the Lord as Joshua followed the Lord, we will find these victories in our own lives . God has one Way of Victory and we must never veer from His Way, which is complete Faith in Christ and the Victory He won for us at Calvary . We find in this Book that Joshua stood in the Office of the Prophet, we find the proof of that in Chapter 24, Verses 2 through 27 .

JoShUA’S fINAL AddRESS

Chapter 24 is Joshua’s final address to the Children of Israel . In His final statement one sees that Joshua re-minded the Children of Israel of the great victories God had won for them, beginning with Abraham’s Call, a Call of Grace that would bring him out of a pagan nation and through him would bring forth the Nation known as Israel . What a God we serve, a God of Grace and Mercy that though Abraham was an idol-worshipper, there was something in his heart that longed to know God, and Grace would save Abraham’s heart . As Joshua reminded God’s People of all the past Miracles and great Works performed by God on their behalf, so too should we as Ministers remind the church of what Christ has done for us . We must continually keep before them God’s Mighty Acts and Miracles and constantly remind them that our Lord is “the same yes-terday, today, and forever” (Heb . 13:8) .

JoShUA’S WARNINg

Sadly, Joshua knew that even as he spoke to them that the people were idolaters . The Twenty-third Verse of Joshua says, “Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you. . . .” They hid these false gods and idols in spite of them seeing the Lord do great and mighty things . An idol is anything that takes the place of God .

Today there are idols in the church just as it was then; idols, such as denominations, churches, religious rules, and activity . Some in the church even make idols out of preachers . It’s interesting to note that many in the church are more likely to defend a preacher before they defend the Lord and the Bible . Anything in which the Believer places his faith other than Christ and Him Crucified and Resurrected constitutes an idol . Of course, they will deny this but in the eyes of God that’s exactly what it is . The church world is by and large wrapped up into works, and good works, but too many begin to put their faith in their works and not Christ, even though they might not be aware of it, but it’s happening, and it’s an idol in God’s eyes . everything we do and everything we are must be founded on Christ and Him Crucified . If it’s not, then it’s “strange gods.”

JoShUA’S LEAdERShIP

Under Joshua, the people of Israel had tremendous leadership . The church needs leadership, and I’m not talking about religious hierarchy, but men and women who have been Called and Touched by the Hand of God, who have the anointing, and will stand up and proclaim “thus saith the Lord,” without fear or favor . We need today, more Joshuas, Isaiahs, Jeremiahs, ezekiels, John the Baptists, and Pauls, Peters, James’, and Johns, who are not afraid of public opinion or political correctness . A nation and the church can rise only as high as its leadership .

Though there are 33 Verses in this final Chapter, Verse 15, in a sense, wraps up the entire Chapter . The world and unfortunately much of the church pulls and tugs at the Christian in order that the Believer departs from God’s Way . God’s Way is the Bible and the Cross . We as the People of God must stand up to the world and proclaim that we are going to serve God no matter what Laws are passed, no matter how much fun they make of us and even persecute us . We must stand firm against the world and its many vices, and stand up for Holiness and Righteousness . I can’t answer for anyone else, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Dear Brother Swaggart, Praise the Lord! I never even knew that SonLife Broadcasting Network existed until a little over a week ago . What a blessing this is to me, and although they don’t know it yet, to my entire family . “The ‘chasTIseMenT’ Of The lOrD”proper conclusion that to “spare the rod” is to “spoil the child.” Having said this, let’s look a little closer at the term “chastisement” and discover its Scriptural and textual meaning .

ThE dEfINITIoN of “chasTIseMenT”

The “chastisement” of the Lord is not punishment . Its purpose is to teach or instruct . The word originally indicated instruction of children, things pertaining to the training of a child . It was looked upon as educative discipline and training . While it certainly contains correction of thought, attitude, or deed, it was not punitive in nature . “Chastisement” from the Lord then is not a penalty but a purging of all things that will prove harmful from the being of the individual, who is a “Christian in training.” Another aspect of this word is that it is instruction by deed not just word . The idea here is this . God feels like He can’t just tell us about this, I have to show you, guide you through . For instance, in training my son in the use of the lawnmower I couldn’t just say, “Here’s the lawnmower, go mow the grass.” There were aspects of the machine that had to be handled properly to avoid harm from coming to him . So, I went out to the shed, took the lawnmower out, showed the various parts, showed him how to start it, told him rules of safety, etc . Then, I started it for him, showed him how to use it, and stood close by until he understood the dangers and responsibilities . Our Heavenly Father takes us through difficult situations, trials, and adversity for the same reasons, much in the same way . While learning how to live this Christian life we will pass through many “dangers, toils, and snares” but never without our Father attempting to equip us with the information and tactics we need to have to move through these things successfully . The training, as difficult as it might be, is not a punishment for

H hebrews 12:5-7 – “And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children (the apostle’s objective in introducing this here is to show that afflictions are designed, on the part of God, to produce positive effects in the lives of his People), my son, despise not you the chasten-ing of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked of him (everything that happens to a Believer is either caused or allowed by the lord; consequently, we should learn the lesson desired to be taught): “for whom the Lord loves he chastens (God disciplines those he loves, not those to whom he is indifferent), and scourges every son whom he receives. (This refers to all who truly belong to him .) “If you endure chastening, god deals with you as with sons (chastening from the lord guarantees the fact that one is a child of God); for what son is he whom the father chastens not? (If an earthly father truly cares for his son, he will use whatever measures necessary to bring the boy into line . If an earthly father will do this, how much more will our heavenly father do the same?)”

“chasTIseMenT”

To most of us, “chastisement” is thought of in terms of punishment . When we were children our parents would “chastise” us when we did something wrong . We saw the business side of a belt, a willow switch, a hand, etc . Today, if a parent applies any measure of discipline for wrongdoing to a child he is verbally berated by society and psychology . Consequently, very little of the standards applied to the way we were once “disciplined” by our parents is carried out today . Sooner or later someone may equate the lack of respect for authority figures, God, and government that exists in our younger generations today and come to the

wrongdoing; it is the training of a Heavenly Father that loves us too much to allow us to remain the same .

ThE NEEd foR “chasTIseMenT”

There is not a Believer that has ever existed that can escape this process . If you aren’t experiencing this in some form or another, the Scripture declares you as an illegitimate child . Whether it be light or heavy, don’t despise the chastening of the Lord . Don’t take it lightly . Don’t fail to recognize the necessity of it . Don’t fail to realize the significance of it . Don’t fall under condemnation and don’t consider it as God punishing you . The closer one gets to God, the greater this need will be . Therefore, we must “endure” the chastening process . This simply means that we are not to try to escape the situation we are to embrace it, remain under it, and abide where we are until such time as God’s Training is done . Ours is the fight of Faith . We agonize to believe that God is in control despite evidences to the contrary . We are to claim the Faithfulness of the Father, the Victory of the Son, and the Help of the Holy Spirit .

ThE ENd RESULT of “chasTIseMenT”

The place you find yourself in today may not seem pleasant . You may feel that what is happening is either unfair or unnecessary . But our Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need and how to produce it in us . The Devil works in these situations to prove us evil, while our Father seeks to prove that we are Genuine . He will guide you through if you will trust Him, rely upon Him, call upon Him, and count upon Him . He truly is the Shield of His Children and their exceeding Great Reward . The author of Hebrews told us plainly, “Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of Righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby” (Heb . 12:11) . Let patience have her perfect work . You won’t be sorry you did .

I Peter 5:7-9 – “Casting all your care upon Him (refers here to a direct and once-for-all committal to God of all that would give us concern); for He cares for you (translated literally, ‘for you are His concern’). “Be sober (mentally self-controlled), be vigilant (awake and watchful); because your adversary the Devil, as a roar-ing lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour (we are faced with a very powerful adversary): “Whom (the Devil) resist stedfast in the Faith (‘the Faith’ always refers to what Jesus did at the Cross; our Faith must be ever anchored in that Finished Work), knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your Brethren who are in the world. (Every true Christian faces the onslaught of the Evil One.)”

“No man ever sank under the burden of the day. It is when tomorrow’s burden is added to the burden of today, that the weight is more than a man can bear.”

I wish that I could write and tell you that the moment you become a Christian, that there will be no more problems, and that life would treat you kindly. Unfortunately, I would be lying if that were the case. There are situations that will arise in our lives that seem to be more than what we can bear at the moment, and that life has thrown us curve balls for which we were not prepared. Many times in this life we wonder if God is even there, and we question as to why He would allow these things to happen to us. But I would like to remind you that nothing takes God by surprise, and He knows exactly what He is doing. We also must remember that everything that happens to us, in this life as a Believer, is either orchestrated by God or allowed by God to take place. He is in control of every situation. But, for many who feel like the weight of the world is upon their shoulders, and that the burdens of life have completely worn you down, the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Peter has given us the answer for all care, worry, anxiety, and fear.

“CASTING ALL OUR CARE UPON HIM”

As Christians, it was never meant that we must carry our burdens upon our shoulders ourselves, and in all actuality, many Christians are doing just that. For whatever reason, many are holding on to the cares of this life, with fear gripping their heart, afraid to face the day. We are told by the Holy Spirit that when life begins to get us down, we must cast all of our cares upon Him. Before we tell you how that is done, we must first address these issues. Care, anxiety, fear, and worry are a sign of unbelief. It says that whatever our problem may be, that God is not able to solve it. It is an exaltation of self against God, and that we are depending upon self rather than trusting in Him and What He has Done for us at Calvary’s Cross. When we worry about the issues of life, we are in a sense telling God that He is not big enough and we somehow will have to fix these problems ourselves. Can’t you see what is being said here? By worrying over the issues of life, being consumed with fear of what tomorrow may bring, is a lack of Faith. As we may not understand what tomorrow may bring, we must always understand that we are holding the Hand of the One Who created the world in which we live in, and that He hung the stars in place. We must believe that we are the apple of His Eye, and He holds us in the Power of His Right Hand.

THERE IS A HEDGE OF PROTECTION AROUND US

We must understand that there is a hedge of protection all the way around us, and that nothing can penetrate that hedge unless God allows it. We know this from Job 1:10, when Satan appears before the Lord and when asked about Job, Satan’s response was, “Have You not made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.” This proves to us that even Satan knows that around every Child of God, who has named the Name of Jesus, God has placed a hedge of protection all the way around you! You need to believe this!

“GOD’S ANSWER FOR ANXIETY, FEAR, AND WORRY”


As the song says:

“I’ve got a hedge built all the way around me “And I cannot fail the Lord. “I’ve found a hiding place in my Jesus, “He gives me shelter from the storm. “When ol’ Satan tries to tempt, the Lord won’t let him in. “’Cause I’ve got a hedge built all the way around me “And I know I’m free from sin.”

The Bible tells us that we are “a Peculiar People” (I Pet. 2:9), which does not mean strange, as we would understand the word today. But, in actuality, that word “Peculiar” means that there is a fence that is placed around you, as if you are the only human being in existence. Because of this, God says that whatever is on the outside of that fence belongs to the Devil, but whatever is on the inside of this fence belongs to Him, and there is nothing that Satan can do about it.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO CAST?

When the Holy Spirit tells us to “cast” our cares upon Him, the word “cast” means “to throw upon.” All that this means is simply to throw all of our cares upon Him. In other words, too many Christians hold on to their cares and worries, instead of throwing them upon Christ, never to pick them up again. We do this simply by keeping our Faith anchored in the Cross.

WORRY AND THE CROSS

Proper Faith cannot be held or had by a Believer unless it is anchored in the Cross of Christ. When we place our Faith in the Finished Work of Christ, it removes the emphasis off of self, and places the emphasis on Christ and what He has Done for us. By doing this, it becomes easy for us to cast our cares upon Him, which will stop all worry, doubt, fear, and care. We are His Concern, and He cared enough for us that He shed His Life’s Blood on Calvary’s Cross, which should help us to understand that He is concerned over every part of our lives. The main reason why we worry is because we are not looking to Christ and the Cross, but rather looking at self, and by looking at self, it breeds all sorts of problems in our lives. We must take our eyes off of self, and place them on Christ, where they belong. Quit looking to yourself for the answer, for we do not have the answer in and of ourselves. But, as Paul said, “Looking unto Jesus the Author and the Finisher of our Faith” (Heb. 12:2).

Israel stands at the helm of Bible Prophecy . Sadly, many today do not comprehend her role in endtime events and, thereby, they do not provide the prayerful support neces-sary for Israel at this critical hour . Although it is said that Christians should agree on the essential doctrines and not be overly concerned with the “nonessential” doctrines, I contest that the timing of the Resurrection/Rapture of the church, i .e . Premillenial, Amillennial, post Tribulation, etc ., and Israel’s future must be properly understood in order to Spiritually comprehend current events .

PRETERISm

The origins of the teaching known as Preterism were written by a Jesuit named Luis De Alcazar during the counter-reformation . Preterism asserts that Bible Proph-ecy, especially Christian eschatology, or endtime events, were fulfilled in the First Century after Christ’s Birth . This was an argument used to benefit the Roman Catholic Church with Protestants . In other words, it was birthed as a Catholic defense . The first Protestant to accept this Preterist view was Hugo Grotius, a Dutch individual who was eager to bridge the gap between Protestants and the Roman Catholic Church . His first effort to establish common ground was his writings entitled, Commentary On Certain Texts Which Deal With Antichrist (1640), in which he attempted to argue that the texts relating to the Antichrist had their fulfillment in the First Century A .D . Although his work was not well received by Protestants, Grotius continued on . In his next work, Commentaries On The New Testament (1641-1650), he expanded his Preterist views to include the Olivet Prophecy and the Book of Revelation .

JohN ThE APoSTLE

This view was not embraced by the early Church Fa-thers, especially those who had a personal relationship with the Apostle John . I believe it is safe to say that those who associated with the Apostle John would also have

possessed a correct understanding of what John meant by the “millennium.” As a young man, Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyon, listened to Polycarp speak on various subjects . Based on the solid claims of Irenaeus, Polycarp is believed to have had personal contact with the Apostle John . As well, Polycarp was a strong believer in Premillennialism and the idea of an earthly kingdom where Jesus Christ would physically reign on the earth . Irenaeus’ belief in a Premillennial Resurrection/Rapture of the church helped him to fight against the heresy of Gnosticism, which at its core teaches that matter is evil .

AUgUSTINE?

The church also became greatly influenced by the writings and teachings of Augustine . Augustine was recognized as antiquity’s greatest theologian and of significant importance until the Reformation . Many of his views helped shape the reformers, including John Calvin . Spurgeon said, “Calvin got his Calvinism from Augustine.” Augustine was known as the Father of Amillennialism . Amillennialism teaches that the Kingdom of God will not be physically established on earth throughout the “millennium,” but rather that Jesus is presently reigning from Heaven, seated at the


Right Hand of God the Father . The millennium began at Pentecost, as is shown by the Apostle Peter using the Prophecies of Joel concerning the coming of the Kingdom, to explain what was happening . The church’s spreading of the Gospel is, in fact, Christ’s Kingdom . Augustine popularized the view of Tyconius that the millennium was a literal thousand year reign which will follow Christ’s Second Coming . Like Tyconious, Augustine argued that the First Resurrection of Rev-elation 20:4-6 is a Spiritual Resurrection, not a bodily Resurrection . Augustine adopted an Amillennial view when Ambrose taught him it was okay to allegorize the Old Testament . Many Protestants embrace this teach-ing today, which distorts the Prophecies with regard to national Israel’s literal Restoration and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Messiah at the end of the seven year Tribulation .

iSraEL

In the next few months I am going to detail God’s Plans for Israel and what role the church plays in eschatology . Israel was set aside because of unbelief and the church, being an inferior branch, was grafted in for the purpose of spreading the Gospel . There is only one Salvation for mankind – Jesus Christ and Him Crucified . But, there is also a wonderful place for national Israel . As a child still under the law, we who are Spiritual must be good stewards towards Israel’s inheritance, for the hour is coming when David shall govern with the Righteous Branch, Jesus Christ, on the throne in Jerusalem for a literal one thousand years after the seven year Great Tribulation, and then: “Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the Work of my Hands, that I may be glorified” (Isa . 60:21) . The Bible speaks of precious Promises towards those that bless Israel . “pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you” (Ps . 122:6) .

65 MILLION AND COUNTING

I’m talking about the number of homes that we go into at this present time in the USA, 24/7. That’s not counting the 14 million that we’re going into 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the United Kingdom (Eng-land, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland). Neither is it counting the millions that watch by Satellite all over the globe. We are doing everything within our power, because we believe the Lord has told us to do so, to go into every home in the world, at least to make the pro-gramming available. “The Message of the Cross” is what the Holy Spirit is presently saying to the churches. It is the Message of the hour. It is what the Lord is doing. How thankful I am that the Lord would deign to use us in this capacity.

I believe a Move of God is coming that’s going to dwarf everything that we have seen in the past. The possibil-ity exists that millions could be swept into the Kingdom of God. I earnestly solicit your prayers, and I mean that sin-cerely, that we will do exactly what the Lord wants done, that the Holy Spirit through us will Guide the Network in order to reach more souls, to do exactly that which the Lord desires.

THE 2012 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE

The dates are July 25 through 29. There’s nothing in the world quite like it. Thousands of young people from all over the world, full of youthful energy, and all for Christ, it’s like a little bit of Heaven on Earth. Now you grey-heads make a great mistake if you think this is for kids, and you wouldn’t be interested. Please understand, when the Spirit of God Moves, it is for every-one. So, if you want to go somewhere this July, I want you to come to Baton Rouge and be in this International Youth Conference, and I don’t care how young you are or how old you are, you’re going to know you’ve been in Church. It’s Campmeeting, but with a youthful vigor such as many have never seen before.

THE NEW CD

The name of it is “BURDENS ARE LIFTED AT CALVARY”. I will never forget the night sitting beside my dad in a little tiny Assembly of God Church in northeast Loui-siana, as I began to ask the Lord to give me the talent to play the piano. I promised Him I would never use that talent in the world, but always for His Glory. I have kept that promise, and to be sure, the Lord has kept His. There’s nothing in the world like music that’s anointed by the Holy Spirit. It is, in fact, the highest form of praise and worship there is. We know that because the longest Book in the Bible is Psalms, all dedicated to music and


singing, to the worship of the Lord. In fact, the Holy Spirit wrote every single Psalm (Song), and gave it to David and others, who gave it to us. It soothes the soul, it encourages the heart, it lifts men up above the shadows and plants their feet on higher ground. So whatever you do, get this new CD, I guarantee you that you will be blessed.

I want to thank all of you who helped us with the purchase of the new sound set for Family Worship Center. The old one was over 30 years old, and was on its last legs. In fact, we almost didn’t make it through the Easter Campmeeting. Our Engineers kept it together with sweat and prayer. The new one is a tremendous improvement, and will be felt in all of the taping of all the Services that go out all over the world. So thank you for helping to make it possible. Incidentally, possibly by the time you read this we will have the generators installed. But, inasmuch as we have to get this Evangelist Magazine copy in ahead of time, they may be in the process of installing them now, or will do so very shortly. DAVID

We have just finished a new book entitled, “DAVID”. It goes into detail regarding the life of one of the greatest men of God who ever lived, David, the sweet singer of Israel. He stands larger than life in many respects, and yet was so down to earth human, both in the realms of failure and Victory. I believe this book will open up much understanding respecting the Word of God and the time and times in which David lived. I think the Lord has helped us to make this man real in a way that most have never known. It should be ready sometime in September, and when it is, I hope you will get a copy. I don’t know exactly how many pages at this stage that it will be, possibly around 300, but it could be more.

It’s growing by leaps and bounds, with thousands joining from all over the world; and how so very happy and pleased we are to have you. The only requirement is to be “born again.” If you’ve made the Lord your Sav-iour, you are welcome to be a part of FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER MEDIA CHURCH. And please understand, while Church may mean many things to different people, in reality it is the Word of God that’s preached behind the pulpit. There may be all type of other things that take place, but that is the primary definition of Church, according to the Book of Acts and the Epistles. It’s the Word of God. And that we pledge to you to preach, an uncompromised Message, ever THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS. So, if you are interested, give us a buzz, and we’ll go from there. Many ask the question, “Brother Swaggart, do I have to give a certain amount of money each month?” No you don’t. That’s between you and the Lord. Of course, it costs us money, a lot of it, to get the programming into your home, your heart, and your life, as should be obvi-ous.
