TRANSCRIPT
Children ages 6-12 in Franklin or neighboring counties are invited to enter
the Outdoor Education Summer Camp Scholarship Essay Contest, spon-
sored by the Outdoor Education Community Recreation Council (CRC). If
you received this scholarship within the last 12 months, you are ineligible to
apply for the 2015 summer camp season. One winner per household.
The Essay
In 500 or less words, answer the question, “Why I want to go to Outdoor
Education Camp.” Entries must include name, age, and parent/guardian
contact information. Entries must also include a drawing or photo of you
engaged in your favorite outdoor activity.
The Prize
The Outdoor Education CRC will provide a scholarship for one week of
camp for up to ten campers. Each of the ten selected essay authors will be
awarded a scholarship (worth up to $135) to attend one full week of
Summer Camp at either Indian Village, Camp Terra, or Camp Walnut
between June 8 and August 14, 2015. Winners will be pre-registered into
the camp of their choice on March 13, 2015. Once the winner is registered,
no refunds, transfers or exchanges will be made for any reason.
