1 The Embodied Enneagram 18-19 April 2015 with Peter O’Hanrahan The Enneagram tells us that every person has three centers of intelligence - mind, heart and body - that form our personality type. In this workshop, we will explore the nine personality types and their underly- ing character structures emphasizing their physical and emotional patterns. Our focus will be a body-based (somatic) approach to healing and relationships. You will learn about: • The somatic profiles of the nine personality types, including breathing patterns and defense systems • Wilhelm Reich’s descriptions of body armor applied to the Enneagram types • How your own personality type is based in the body and the emotions with habitual patterns of feeling and sensation • Practical exercises for working with your body and breath to reduce stress and become more centered This workshop combines presentation and discussion with stretching and breathing exercises and simple massage. Each person will experience a guided breathwork session in a small group. Everyone will be encouraged to go at their own pace. What to bring A yoga mat, foam mat, or thick blanket for floor work, plus a small towel. Please wear comfortable clothing. See website for details of PD hours. The Enneagram tells us that every person has three centers of intelligence - mind, heart and body - that form our personality type. In this workshop, we will explore the nine personality types and their underly-ing character structures emphasizing their physical and emotional patterns.

Our focus will be a body-based (somatic) approach to healing and relationships. You will learn about:• The somatic profiles of the nine personality types, including breathing patterns and defense systems • Wilhelm Reich’s descriptions of body armor applied to the Enneagram types• How your own personality type is based in the body and the emotions with habitual patterns of feeling and sensation• Practical exercises for working with your body and breath to reduce stress and become more centered

This workshop combines presentation and discussion with stretching and breathing exercises and simple massage. Each person will experience a guided breathwork session in a small group. Everyone will be encouraged to go at their own pace.

What to bringA yoga mat, foam mat, or thick blanket for floor work, plus a small towel. Please wear comfortable clothing.

The six-day Enneagram Intensive, a stand-alone workshop or Section 1 of the International Enneagram Professional Training Program, offers a deep and transformative experience of the Enneagram.

ENNEAGRAM STUDIES IN THE NARRATIVE TRADITION (ESNT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives and creating a more compassionate world. Our core curriculum includes the Enneagram Professional Training Program (EPTP), which was founded in 1988 by Helen Palmer, a leading Enneagram author and teacher, and David Daniels MD, professor of psychiatry at Stanford University. We teach in 15 countries worldwide, and have certified more than 1,000 Enneaagram Teachers in the Narrative Tradition.

Our teaching format is based on the panel method - hearing from people of all nine personality types speak about their personal experience and path of development. This approach builds community and supports learning in all three centers: mind, heart and body. More than simply learning concepts, we emphasize how to develop more self awareness, empathy and grounded presence. This allows us to work with the Enneagram in practical ways - in our relationships, our decisions and choices, and our own behavior - and to open a deeper connection to both our inner essence and a greater Spirit. We do not promote any particular ideology or theology but welcome people from every religious or cultural background.
