The Empowered Feminine Festival Manifesto

This manifesto serves the purpose of supporting you during the festival and inspiring you to step into the beautiful Goddess that you are.

Manifesto I acknowledge that in essence, I am an embodiment of love and light. I am a child of the Earth and I am one with the Universe and with others. I am journeying to be more and more who I truly am. Whilst on this journey, I embrace the whole of me, light and shadows. I choose to be kind with myself and others. I understand that my past is like a cancelled cheque* and that it is in the present (right now!) that I create and co-create my life. I understand that being empowered does not mean wielding power over others but rather working with others from a heartfelt place. *in the words of Mata Amritanandamayi. Resolve

• I commit to stepping fully in to my own shoes and living the life I am meant to live for the highest good of all

• I resist the temptation to play small and instead stand in my strength every day • I choose to share my gifts with others • I ask for support when I need to

My body is my temple

• I take care of my body by giving it what it needs (nourishing food, rest and loving presence)

• I honour my physical body and its connection to the Earth and to all around me • I celebrate my body as a doorway to my true love nature • I allow myself to feel my emotions in my body • I let e-motions move through me

Authenticity

• I learn to say NO with an open heart and without guilt. • I create healthy boundaries when I feel the need to.

• I speak my truth with authenticity, diplomacy, respect and love • I quiet my mind and listen to my inner knowing • I listen to the intuitive voice that guides me • I trust myself completely

Divine Right

• I acknowledge my divine right to have infinite abundance, prosperity, pleasure, joy, creative expression and bliss in my life

• I claim my right to love fearlessly and respectfully • I claim the right to follow my bliss for my own good and the good of others • I allow myself and others to shine

Sisterhood*:

• I commit to taking responsibility for myself • I will ask for support when I need it • I will ask for alone time when I need it, and it is nothing personal against others • I will not try to fix others • I will listen to others • I will not fear that others copy me, as I know my expression is unique • I will proactively acknowledge my sisters’ creations when I use them • I will not compare myself to my sisters • I will not speak negatively about my sisters • I will keep what others share confidential and I will not gossip • I will support my sisters and celebrate their unique beauty and gifts • I will have each sister’s best interests at heart at all times (including mine) • I will not hold myself back to fit in and I will support my sisters in doing the same

• I understand that both masculine and feminine polarities are part of me • I acknowledge that both have gifts • I acknowledge that the feminine is not weak and I choose to open up to discovering the

gifts of my feminine polarity as well as my masculine. I choose balance.
