    Hello,

I want to add a point regarding the communication skills which is important part, which is been judged by each and every

company. So primary and secondary school must add a course of soft skills and which should be made compulsory, so

that students from an age of 10 start speaking confidently and a good personality comes out. As in now competition is

very much and mostly students are lacking in their communication skills and fear which they have in their mind. So

schools should introduce a subject in which students from a particular class start speaking confidently, this help the

student itself and will be able gain more knowledge.

If such kind of courses will be there then our coming generation would be more an more confident, will have knowledge

and will also be fearless will speaking in public and it will also help our country grow with excellent talent.

Why a course like this should be added because theoretical knowledge can gained by every body but how to speak

confidently can be gained by speaking again and again. It will also encourage students to read newspapers and articles

Why is our education system is like a broken bridge? Why we are losing the old prestige of our country?

We must increase the number of schools and job opportunities. Most of the people are migrating to other countries

because of facilities and job opportunities. I am waiting for an rocking INDIA.

If anything needs to be change then it is urgency to change our educational system. Why should there be reservation in

educational institutions on the basis of caste, if they are meritorious then they can compete with other students without

    any reservation also.

If reservation is there, then let it be on the basis of economic background, people who are economically weak definitely

needs the helping hand of the government and these people are not only in SC, ST or OBC but in large number of upper

    castes.

The Ncert books which we study in 8th&9th class creating a different impact on students, when they introduce to civics

and democracy the first lesson tells that political leaders misuse the power. They might misuse the power but don't tune

the young minds by creating a bad impact, not on political leaders but on political system they lose hope in our

democracy and they may tend to do so in future when they become political leaders.

The knowledge or the education which they are giving should be more practical instead of mugging up the whole subject,

so that new ideas and new thoughts will come from ignited minds.

India needs quality education for that we should have eligible teachers and good environment when educating the minds

of our youth, we must not forget to educate their hearts it makes us to learn the moral values of the society because in

the present society the crime rate is more in the age group of below 18. Children must be taught how to think not what

    to think.

"Work hard in silence to put India as a developed nation and let success make the noise".

    Hello guys.

I am agree with that our Education system has got many flaws. But is this system is our real system? no we had a

system in our ancestors era (vedic era). That was totally based upon the practical knowledge. We are lacking in

understanding things and unable to learn them for a long time why? because we are trying to shift from our mother

tongue HINDI which we speak and think.

Third - The fee structure of the schools. Now a days it is perception that if one school is charging higher fee than its very

good school. You can see as government primary schools have been the schools of the poor people. Every middle class

and upper class person wants to send his child into a private school.

Fourth - Lack of collaboration with industrial areas.

Coming to the Higher education we have a black hole of skill improvement. Even teachers of the Engineering colleges are

not skilled enough to tell about the practical concept and working.

So there should be compulsion about the experience of at least 2 years of working in any industry.

And one more there should be one career consultancy workshop in 10th and 12th standards so that student and their

parents should come to know which is the best option for them.

    Thank you.

    Dear all.

According to my personal opinion in our Indian education system may be possible certain great changes if we follow of

these points as given below in order:

    1. Indian government as well as country's people must give more attention of our education infrastructure to provide

best education environment of our children.

    2. We should change in our old syllabus patterns and add more practical work to provide proper practically knowledge to

become perfect in their particular field.

    3. We should contain such course material which should be interesting as well as depend on students level.

    4. To make great renovation in our education system then we must also implemented it seriously with discipline and

    moral education also.

    5. Parents and government should be students counselling so then can opt right career path according to their inborn

    talent.

We should go for more applied education with practical knowledge. And building up proper cconcept. Not just memorising

data and facts and run for huge marks and success. There should be proper infrastructure for those who are enthusiastic

for research. And our WB should not just try to copy the Delhi board. The recent change in WBBSE syllabus is just

making the concept numb. If the board want change then it should be started from the root of education system. Not

just putting more advance scientific data's and m aking th e syllabus h umiliating. So it true, really a reform is needed.

    Hello friends,

Am Nisha, In my point of view.

Nowadays education is fully based on book knowledge only. The current Education system does not give opportunity for

the students to think individually based on their knowledge and create innovative things on their own. The system just

allow us to mugging informations for only the sake of getting good marks. So there is no opportunity to show the

students knowledge to the outside world.

Each and every child possess certain excellent talents that should be definitely shown through their education. Either the

Education system should be reformed according to the student capabilities or the students must choose their domain

    according to their interest.

Finally I concluded that, the good Education system also helps to develop our nation all over the world so it must be

reformed to practical knowledge and to provide updated knowledge or information.

    Thank You.

I have one word for Indian education system that is "we are better illiterate".

This system is outdated, corrupt, lack of practical, creativity, imagination and physical education and development. The

total curriculum of our education system is outdated. Now from early age we teach our children to mug up things rather

than put their own thoughts in it that's why from early age we get bored from reading that's why most of Indian don't

want to read any book rather it is educational or abstract even we don't like to read newspaper. Books develop or

intellectual and personality if we don't read abstract book we can't understand outside world.

Early age we start reading series and mug up the books for getting good marks but it stop or creative things and stop to

put our own views that's why some of us don't take life changing decision and teacher also responsible for that because

they only give number when you write as book. Practical knowledge is essential. Even our brain science said that if you

see and listen the thing you better understand it and it. I am hr professional and I know what problem I faced because of

that in my job and lots of people face that. Physical education also important because it develop ourselves mentally and

physically. It make our brain fit.

Read today that the government has suddenly woken up to the fact that there are more than 300 archaic laws in India

and these will be repealed soon. The situation is similar in the case of our education system which is based on the system

that was introduced in the early nineteenth century. While the British have moved on and they have innovated theirown education system, we are still clinging on to it. As a result, generations after generations of children are suffering the

pressures of the Indian syllabus. In our country, education is not about gaining knowledge with interest, rather it is

about mugging up information just to pass the exams.

I think that the Indian education system can be really reformed if we make the following changes.

    1. The amount of reserved quotas should be reduced. The amount of general seats has drastically reduced since the last

2 decades. Some people fake their identities to get such quotas.

    2. The pupils should be punished if they write the same words as in the text books, this way cramming can be prohibited.

    3. The textbooks should be changed every year so that the pupils cannot start learning from them and get an year head

    start. This also prevents cramming.

    4. Previous year's question papers and question banks should be prohibited.

    5. There should be a General Knowledge test every month to brush up the pupil's knowledge.

    6. The pupils should be given the choice of choosing their careers in 8th standard so that they only study for the related

subjects on the main. Other subjects should be additional.

    7. Before declaring the results of every single exam there should be a surprise test or interview to check where the pupils

    stand.

    8. As said before by Shubhankar Ayare there should be certificate renewal exams but every 10 years till one attains an

    age of 50 years.

    9. All schools whether private or public should be given a surprise inspection every year.

Well I think this is it. To reform Indian education and then society.

    Dear All,

The education system needs serious reforms in some of the aspects like.

    1. Infrastructure:

Many Organizations are not maintaining proper infrastructure like buildings, equipment in Labs, playground and also fees

limitations. The people have to see that the Organization is running as per the rules and regulations according to law.

    2. Faculty:

There should be eligible persons as faculty in the organization instead of mentors/temporary staff to teach pupil.

    3. Attendance:

The parents and teachers should observe the regularity of the student. The attendance cutoff should be more than 70%

    for every individual.

    4. Marks:

The pass mark should be increased from 35% to 70%. When majority of the pupil are scoring more than 80% and 90%.

It is ridiculous in keeping the cutoff at 35%.

    5. Promotion:

The pupil who crossed the cutoff of 70% both in Attendance and marks should be promoted to next level. Fake medical

bills in place of lack of attendance and promises of student/Parent for shortage of marks should not be encouraged.

    6. Scholarships:

The Scholarships are to be given only to the eligible candidates who maintains proper attendance and secures required

marks. The Scholarships should not be given based on religion, caste and community factors.

If these changes are implemented in the education system, it results in fruitful output and the values of the educational

    system will increased.

Thank you for giving me opportunity to share my views on Education in India.

The education in India is good and you can say best in the world, because you can see, listen, read, feel and analyse the

things around us. People are getting knowledge in both theoretical and practical aspects. Due to this, today India is

standing in the line of Developing Nation and it's a sign that in few years, India will be a developed nation. So it's a proud

for us but you know that there is both positivity and negativity in a system, so there are some defects in our education

    system also for example.

"Education is the interesting way that improve our abilities with the help of our teachers". It provide us, the Skills,

Abilities that how to become a successive person to nation. But now, It is only for naming. Because of our education

system. India is a grateful example of, "Guru DRONACHARYA" and his shishya "EKALAVYA". In that time the education

system is theory means 'through shlok ' as well as by practical also. So, I admit that, we should have to some changes

are necessary to our Education system like this. Because the students are not try to understand the proper meaning of

education, they are only for "How to get marks and ranks. So it is the one of thing that we are agree with Others

Hi, Indian education system is good, because of According to my view our education system is good because oureducation system is better and hard as compare to other country. But main problem arises that corruption is eating the

all education system. Those student who are leaving in village they have not sufficient money to read higher education,

government provides money for him but students are not getting money completely. Government also knows everything

if you providing practical and theoretical knowledge in school it is not advantage for all student first correct the system.

Why should students whose natural abilities are not tuned to Physics, Chemistry and Math be put under severe strain to

study these subjects intensively in high schools? Why should students not interested in language specialization have to

go through the torture of mugging up complex literary works? I work in the media field but nothing I learnt in my high

school has helped me specialize in my current area of work. The Indian high school curriculum is designed for engineering

formative years. I learnt most of what is required on the job.

I think there our education system must focus on practical thinking rather than theoretical learning. Presently students

only mug up before the exams and write without actually understanding the topic. This kind of knowledge is not long

lasting. Also the quality of education in engineering colleges is poor. Text books are full of errors so students are confused

    about studying.

Yes, a series of reforms are certainly required in our education system.

In India, only theoretical knowledge is being provided to students where provision of practical knowledge is the need of

    the hour.

Nowadays we see that, Students are losing interest in studies because of several such reasons.

One possible reason could be BOREDOM.

The education system in India requires the students to mug up each and every word written in their text books. The

students just have a gist of the lessons or the chapters they are being taught by their respective 'teachers'.

They are not provided with proper knowledge of their subjects which eventually leaves the students too bored to study.

For that matter, the pressure builded up on students in class 12th and the hype created by teachers and parents on the

students regarding the board examinations is also a major cause of concern. And even if they score well in their exams

    the fight doesn't end.

It is always said that there is no word like 'destiny'. It is we and our hard work that defines and decides our destiny.

But the question is, even after studying for long long hours, even after working harder, even after scoring a perfect 90+,

why didn't our destiny take us to the college or university of our choice? thousands of such disheartened students are

    found asking such questions.

University of Delhi is where lies the toughest competition. The reserved students take over the advantage and capture all

the seats of the other deserving candidates.

This is really annoying and all these series of events leaves such students demotivated and disheartened.

Sadly our education system is concentrating more on attracting rote learners rather than giving opportunities to students

    having a good knowledge base.

Till the time teachers don't take up any step forward in providing knowledge to the students by maintaining both a

theoretical as well as a practical base, the situation of our country's education system will remain poor and it will

definitely not let India to change its status from a DEVELOPING NATION to a DEVELOPED NATION.

Todays education system is just mere production of engineers and doctors. What is the use of education without moral

value? if you turn out to be a well educated person without good character you are a failure. Though we learn integration

at school no one will ask you what is integral 7xdx at a grocery shop. There you need only basic maths.

So practical knowledge and basic needs must be given importance.

    Hi,

In my opinion education system needs serious reforms. I too agree with it. Because there are many schools coming

nowadays. And among these schools if we take private schools they are just making the children to keep in stress for

getting more marks. They are keeping unwanted pressure on the students. Their main aim is to get money without

    concern on child's development.

I would like to suggest e-learning system in schools. Rather than always looking at the board if children can see thesubject in the form of pictures they can remember easily. Also practical knowledge should be given more importance than

theory. Because this practical knowledge will be more in need in the future which determines the child's capacity or the

ability to think and do the things.

When a child enters into this world, it starts discovering things by seeing and touching etc. This is the easiest way for a

child to understand things. But the Indian system of education puts everything on paper. What the child expects to have

is a broad view of learning. But the system pushes him to look into the book and study everything according to some

principles. This is just putting theory into the childs mind unless the child has a high power of imagination. And in this

way, children who get accustomed to this method because of the better effort they put in, come up, and the others lag

behind due to lack of understanding. And this is magnified in the long run.

Now if the child is taken to the outside world where all activity resides, and is shown all the things he has to learn in his

books, he will understand better. Because curiosity reigns in him. So he will be able to apply his knowledge into the real

world and also will he be able to think and study practically. This is exactly what the students in countries like the USA

and GB benefit from. This is the modern style of teaching and learning. And since this system is still not in use in India,

the system of education in India has to be improved.

That their only want to earn money as education is only business where their can earn a lot money. So they make

students to mug up answers and making them not to think on their own way. Their separate students like duller and

I feel there should be also social awareness education for children in school.

Because India is a country which is developing, so until we have minds which think about the future of this country we

cannot expect our future to be bright.

    Education must be categorised into.

    1) Math&Sciences (Math Phy chem) Engg courses.

    2) Social Awareness (Civic sense, How to be a good citizen, How each individual can develop our country, Helping the

poor, participating Social Work to society).

    3) Social sciences (Geography, relevant history, economics).

    4) languages (Soft Skills, Communication in English in Professional and other forms used Currently, Being Confident,

Debates, Discussions Essay writing Thought Expression, Sign Language (For disabled) , Personality Development).

    5) Environmental Sciences (How to be responsible towards environment, practical assignments, spread sanitation

knowledge, Health, Overall importance of Environment and Human sync in Todays World.

    6) Sports and Cultural sciences (Sports and Traditional Cultural activities. Yoga MEDITATION, Self Defense, Life saving

    skills etc. ).

Children from class 1 TO 6 should have all 6 of the above as common subjects in conceptual practical education methods

and from 7th class they need to specialise these branches based on the students interest so that they take keen interest

in studying them more and knowing more. Where we can tap their talent and help them change our country for better!

At that age we make him study as a burden on him or her and child face a stress because mentally physically child is not

ready to understand the study. So he try to run from studies. As per me government Has to fix the age of 5 years for

are not provided, if our Indian government try to provide even these courses in India then we have no need to go abroad

And lot of changes has to be taken in the education system. Many educational institutions has a habit of passing the

only by the educational institutions but also there should be change in the way how the students are thinking now-a-

Greet to one and all, in my point of view there are various areas in Indian education system which needs reformation,

our education system is like read, give exams, get good marks and thats it. Despite of various schemes by government

and crores of rupee invested in this sector the status is not going up, according to a survey held by Indian government

more than 50% students of eighth class not know to read and write.

Some ways to make education system quality oriented are:

. With theoretical knowledge the practical aspects of the subject should be taught.

. Encourage the students that how they will apply there knowledge in the welfare of mankind.

. Exam pattern should be such that the practical problem related to the subject should be given so that student can apply

    knowledge "practically".

. Like IAS exam "ITS" (INDIAN TEACHING SERVICE) exam should be held to select the most promising candidate to train

the budding mind which is going to be the future of the country.

. Courses which are the need of today and future should be included.

By making our education system by this approach we really educate a student and not only trained them. As Gandhiji

also told that "By education I mean all round development of childs".

I teach in a University in Tamil Nadu and the standard of the students as well as teachers here is shockingly low. The

MSc students who had got 70-80% in BSc and join Masters, do not know the subject even at school level. Many of them

are not capable of understanding the subject even if you try to teach them. They write absolute nonsense in Exams and

expect to pass! More surprisingly all other faculty here do pass them! It is because your teaching is valuated by the pass

percentage and the student evaluation. Both will be very good if you give unreasonably high marks. If you fail many

students the university authorities ask you to pass them because UGC evaluates the universities by the results. This is

the sole reason why students pass. The government sponsors higher education, but are not in a state to evaluate the

    universities.

In my opinion higher education should not be free (or cost negligible amount) At least the students should be made to

pay back the amount spent on their education. This will take care of the problem of not interested students wanting to

get a degree. Higher education is not a must for a living. Those of the students who are really talented and have interest

in the subject should get a masters degree.

What is the force which influences an individual to have more knowledge? it is only the passion or interest.

Knowledge will give you power but character will give you respect.

Character includes wide range of positive human values which are humanity, courage, confidence, responsibility,

    leadership and hard work.

It doesn't mean all these should be acquired from school or college education only.

But children will acquire all the above from parents, family, schools, friends and society. Today our society is slowly

habituating to evil things like suicide, rape, cyber crimes, theft, acid attack etc. Obviously we are all part of this society

Hello friends I am Dheleepan from Tamil Nadu. In my point the education system needs a serious reform. I am currently

doing BE. Take about 10 years back, there will be engineers in a city or a village. But now there is an engineer in one

street. This shows the improvement, but not in basic education. Education primary thing is to cultivate a good citizen and

not marks. But here for only money, marks some educational institution are running. Take Namakkal district (near

Salem) schools which tops the state results fail to crack the IIT JEE and AIEEE. This clearly shows what education means

    to them.

Education not only civilize the people it also teaches beyond that. Take our state Tamil Nadu there are about 500

engineering colleges out of which only 100 colleges will have good infrastructure and other facility. In Tamil Nadu state

there is no need to learn the basics, they only need marks. In India the research centers and the facilities are very weak.

What we read through book don't apply practically. Only mark based education system is there and there is no creativity

    in this education system.

Most government schools lack basic facility and also staff don't come to class regularly. One example shows where our

future teacher stands. A TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) was conducted for teachers to get a government job. 80% of them

failed. This shows where this education system stands. A staff who has to teach student fails in the test means, it depicts

our educational system. There is no entrance exam so most schools teach only 12th and skip the 11th syllabus

    completely.

Most students mug-up and write the test and score good marks. Also 12th question paper will not be upto the standards

as most of the one marks will not be application-oriented.

So, In my point the educational system needs serious reform and has to provide education to all and more research

    centers has to be inaugurated.

would like to say here that, our education system needs a reform for sure. Whether is it a serious reform or a reformshouldn't be the pointer. Because every reform is made to rectify a serious policy paralysis. Few of our friends aired their

anxiety about reservation, however we must understand and accept that we cannot put an end to reservations in 60

years for the discriminations occurred for thousands of years. Moreover, without such reservations, we can't have

inclusive growth in the country as we still prohibit people who are living in forests and hills to join the mainstream. It is

all upto the change in the mindset of the citizens and the political icons of India.

My apprehension lies on the privatisation of Education and turning education into an industrial hub. In the preamble of

our constitution we call India as "socialist", however the lately made alterations in the policies or so-called reforms

resemble India as a country of downright crony capitalism. If you are a political top brass either in state level or in union

level, you will possess a quite number of arts and science colleges, polytechnic institutes, 1 or 2 engineering colleges, or if

you like even a medical college. The only requirement is you need to be a hard politician of India nothing else. This sort of

privatisation surely ruins the nation so bad so good. As we all call Indians, or a die hard democrats must realise the

impact of capitalistic elements in society. We can even privatise anything in the country except health and education.

But alas, India is cautious in privatising these both. Creating awareness about family planning to curb rapid growth of

population, increasing transparency in human resource development, increasing free and qualitative educations via

constitutional means rather than the counterfeit socially sponsored schemes, reducing gender gap in education,

mandating primary education through mother tongue, establishing basic educational institutes people friendly, increasing

health, reducing the level of poverty and so forth need to be addressed with paramount vigilance. However we, the

citizens and the elected representatives have forgotten all these societal blockades but focusing on US "the disgustingly

dishonest capitalist country", UK, Australia ETC would do naught but serve in deep dissipation of our time and energy.

Thus, we must need reformation in the livelihood of indians that are off the outskirts of education bar the conscience of

it. Thanks for frittering your precious time in reading my views of the reformations needed in Indian education system.

    Hello friends,

The educational system of India needs a serious reform. Firstly the theoretical system should be changed to a practical

one as we see there a lot many institutes but they render students jobless even after having a degree. Secondly,

There should be more awareness among the people about different fields as we find people have inner talent but they

lack the proper guideline on how to use their talent.

Next, the quality of teachers also needs to improved by providing them with proper and timely training to build students

capabilities. Also the reservation system needs a change as we see many a times the unreserved category, in-spite of

having a deep and thorough knowledge are unable to enter into best institutes.

All these reforms will surely help Indian educational system improve to a great extent.

More schools in India are expecting money from the students. They don't really like to teach the students the real and

present world of science that they had learned and experienced. Most of the schools make their students to MUG UP the

answers and make them to vomit in the board exams. They don't feel and think 'on what field the student have real

interest ?'. They force the students to do well in board exams to make their school ratings to get increased. This

The first thing that needs to be done is change the definition of "homework". Copying stuff already given in the book just

to "fill the notebooks up" is what is prevalent in all the schools of our pathetic education system. Homework is all about

learning stuff NOT given in the book, so homework should include research work and reports.

The "facts" given in Indian books have been proven wrong atleast 50 years ago, if not a hundred.

Lectures give freedom for students to sharing their thoughts. & they should understand the students capability&how to

There should be more fields in Indian education system. Everybody wants to be doctor engineer. We can't have that

much amount of post. So we have to distribute students in different fields. If someone like sport he should be a

sportsman not a engineer same as if someone is interested in photography or history he or she must go for it. Every

parents want their children as doctor, engineer or manager etc. We have to make all fields equal so if there is 100

vacancy for engineer there should be maximum 150 engineering student and they should be interested in their field sothey study it well and develop better concept.

Other thing there is value of marks not knowledge. If there are two student one has better knowledge of subject and

other has memorized everything. In exam first candidate write everything he knows in his word and second copy the

answer line to line as book and has no knowledge. Then the second candidate will get 90-95% marks and first candidate

will get 50% marks. Then after course the first candidate will see that he must have more than 70% marks to get

selected. He has knowledge but not marks and the other candidate has marks but not knowledge.

There should be practical knowledge instead of theoretical. We always get theory knowledge and when we reach to the

field we come to know that whatever we have studied is totally useless. There should be practical knowledge of

    everything.

The final thing is that we can fight for college after school there are so many option for us. But after graduation we have

limited options and we can't fight more after graduation. After school if I go for something and I fail then I'll try for

something which is better for me. But after graduation I can't change my field. So there should be less no of seat in

every field. Ex- there are lots and lots of no of seat for engineering and less number of post. So reduce the seats.

    Education is not a business.

Stop building colleges and school if you can't build a better candidate.

Today's Education system is more like a business institutes. Taking Admission in a good school is a difficult task for

parents. It develops pressure not only to child but parents too. And once you get the admission in the school parents are

realizing that their ward is not getting the education up to mark as in school just syllabus is taught and heavy projects

are given to the ward which actually parents completes.

So Today's education according to me is becoming commercial. Today's education as reformed which is good but the

teachers should understand their duties and put concentration on the child who is studying rather than having private

    Hello friends.

If I am an educational minister of our country, I will implement this kind of educational system in INDIA.

->Students need not to join and study in a college for 4 years. Instead of wasting time In learning subjects in theory

based education system, split that 4 years into two Halves.

->>For first two years make students work practically in different jobs related to engineering like.

    A) Work in a mechanical shop so that you can get some knowledge about some name and work of the parts used. It will

be helpful for mechanical engineering student.

    B) Work in electricity board as electricians. So it will be useful for electrical students.

    C) Work in a place of construction of buildings. You can came to know about use of materials used to construct a building.

    It is for civil engineers.

    D) In some communicating service centre like BSNL etc - helpful for ECE department students.

->Like that separate the first two year as 8 three months and make students, who finished their 12th standard course

and join engineering, to work in 8 different jobs related to engineering course for first two years So that they can

practically know about things happening in different fields.

->For next two make them teach based on theory basis with the help of professional professors. It will be so helpful for

    their future wherever they go.

As the education getting worse so the people wants change but they didn't think how to change. The parents always

aware of our education but didn't take responsibilities to make change. The problem arises only when we having more

than enough schools/colleges this days nearly for small town also there are 20's of schools and colleges that to without

proper education they didn't provide practical knowledge and playground.

So many don't know about games even sports names also they don't know. In that case the government should take

action to cease such institutions those who are not providing play ground and practical knowledge. If the students goes

to industry environment to see how the theoretical things are working in life they get skills to innovate new things. Even

providing notes to students is not enough good after teaching the teacher wants notes from students and rectify their

Education is an instrument which changes man into complete man. But today's education system making man into half,

I mean half knowledge person. According to a great author a half knowledge person is dangerous. Because whatever he

do, he will do with his half knowledge. This is the reason why Indians are not getting noble prizes!

And that can not make a man into man of ethics&values. That is the reason for increasing crime and rapes in India.

So we have to modify the system in such a way that education gives a child to act as human being and can deal any case

at maturity and deep practical knowledge about subject and able to invent something new.

(here education includes not only physics economics etc. But also fine arts sports in whatever a man INTERESTED).

For this we have to change just school education system if it changes automatically everything changes involuntarily.

For this faculty should be excellent in his talents. Otherwise everything remains unchanged. SPOON FEEDING should be

    grade 2.

    2. Hindi should be thought till 7th grade as compulsory subject so that the students hone the basic skills of the language.

    3. In grade 8, students must be given freedom to take Hindi or not, Take computers or biology or arts as optional

    4. On every "Saturday" a MCQ test (1 hour for all subjects) and 2 hours subjective tests of 30 marks must be taken.

These tests should cover the syllabus completed (of all the subjects) in that week. It ensures that the student is revising

There are some key facts I observed that are going wrong and adding only to the pressure of the student.

    1) We need to complete notebooks, assignments and projects that are nothing but copy-pastes from internet. They are

merely completed as a formality for scoring those marks. What's the use of such things in schools when we learn nothing

    from them?

    2) The exams can be good at testing problem solving abilities, but has two defects- first is the marking system (It doesn't

point where the student lacks behind, it just tells the score. And these scores sometimes threaten students' self worth)

and the second is that they don't teach us much about how to apply knowledge in practical situations. Exams could do

with some real life scenarios and asking the student to solve/study them on the spot.

    3) The extra curricular activities are imposed as formalities too. Students are made to dance/sing just because they canobey instructions of the teacher who sets the program. I've never seen someone dance or sing or even speak with true

emotions on my school stage. They appear like trained parrots and machines instead. Students need to be given freedom

to choose their own extra curricular activities AND what they do with that talent. Teachers can't decide such things it

    takes away students' freedom.

    4) I don't see a point in the whole 'discipline' act in our schools. We need to wear uncomfortable formal uniforms just

because they look important, we need to walk in a line because that's a disciplined thing, we can't roam about our own

school campus and need to stay in classes and all such senseless stuff. The school is meant for KIDS, for God's sake! Why

can't we roam free, shout and sing and enjoy, explore the lovelier areas of school and wear comfortable clothes in our

own school? This might seem a trivial thing at first, but it affects the students' sense of being, thirst for exploration,

I am glad to have a chance participate in this interesting group discussion.

I think the planning of the Indian education is well but the applying the planning is not that well that is expected to be.

1). If you see any primary standard books in government school there are so many practical question when there is

something new is introduced, Let see one example,

Teacher introduces about trees and tells their importance to the students and after that there are some questions like.

1). What are the trees you observe in your school premises.

2). Name the trees the you observe in your garden.

3). Did you observe any difference between them which them or big, which of them have more stems, leaves. Etc.

Like that but they did not concentrate on that part even they have interest the teacher don't let the students to

concentrate on that part. She simply tell them answers and ask them to by-heart it for next class I will ask you. Like

    this.

In this way the good planning is going like burden to the students, this is happening because of the most of the teachers

    in government schools,

If you come to private schools the scenario is entirely horrible, the students even don't understood the question and

answer they are just in hurry to by-heart them and in all the most bad thing is in most of the professional colleges also

they don't learn concept and apply them they just simply take guide or material and by-heart the most important

questions. This is the way the good planning twisted when it comes to the practical stage.

Sorry to say but I'm really unhappy with India's education system. We have plans but they aren't executed properly.

Practical knowledge is must rather than theoretical one.

Improve the quality of education rather than the quantity.

My message today is time is running out, we have to act. Enough of discussions and debates.

    Hoping for the best :).

I think to improve education open book exam system should conducted. No one likes to memorize information in his/her

head. Teacher should teach basic concept of subject and real life problems on the basis of that problems. In exam they

allowed to take their book with them to refer basic things like formulas, equations etc. Exam should be creative. The

question asked in exam should be not same as the book instead the should be on the basis of the concept from the book

so that student can figure out on their own.

When asked what is the speed of sound Albert Einstein said: "I do not carry such information in my mind since it is

    readily available in books. ".

In the END the motive of education should not to make students informative but make them knowledgeable and

    creative.

    Hi, this is Simran.

I am totally fed up of our education system. I really loved and enjoyed studying but slowly slowly when I grew up I found

our education system a total burden. I am lacking of my.

Own creativities and interests. I agree CCE pattern is good but it's not getting totally implemented, the way it is told and

displayed. Today syllabus widerness is destroying.

Small ones open minds. Education system is totalising on.

Fetching marks and building an attitude of leaving others behind. As in boards we are told that we will not tell you what

will come, just go thoroughly of the syllabus. What the fuck! Even teachers here are not able to give proper answer

without the marking scheme, and before exams they also are not to make our syllabus complete which is too wider and

sometimes we lack behind some chapters and we have to self study them. If this will be the condition how we will fetch

%, leave others behind on which system focuses. Leave our intentions and creativities, system is not even able toaccomplish what it is focusing on. I think these system makers are playing with our future.

Every year there is a new burden on child. Also,

There is a big problem also in schools teachers are not allowed to have tuitions of school in which they teach but what is

going on is that school teachers do this and tell paper to their students of her school in which she teach. What is this

han? This kind of partiality had happened with me a lots of time. I don' t think our education system focuses to educate

us but the only want to fetch money and money. If this continued one day will come when in order to say our India best

we will be supposed to say another country best and India will lack off literate population and children and also a good

    human resource.

THERE IS A SERIOUS NEED TO CHANGE OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM.

There should be a system in which children are not spoiled by their teachers but are asked to what they really need. In

this developing world we need practical skills and little bit theoretical also but not all theoretical.

TODAY WE SMALL CHILDREN HAVE NO TIME FOR FAMILY, PLAY, FRIENDS, INTERESTS AND WORLD. If we say this to our

system I know they will say if you want this then you are a loser because a winner is only who fetch marks and leave

others behind wit no feeling or thought of other thing. Thy call this a hard work. I think this kind of hard work is the key

    to " A SUCCESS WHICH IS A HELL!. ".
