Winter Carnival at EHS

The Winter Carnival was held Friday before vacation. It is an opportunity to

recognize student achievement and have some school wide fun. Students

received awards for Most Improved and Outstanding Achievement per content

area along with perfect attendance. The students in the We The People

Class were recognized for winning the State Championship. Some brave fac-

ulty members participated in the Faculty versus Seniors basketball game,

which provided humor and enjoyment for all.

Black History Month

As Black History Month comes to a close, our students and staff have been enriched by the visual representa-tions on our Café Commons media screens and Black History Month bulletin board honoring African American change makers. Additionally, faculty were provided ex-cellent resources from Teaching Tolerance and other sources to enhance their curriculum during the month.

In the month of March we will further honor African American woman in celebration of Woman’s History Month.

Thank you to Asher Hamilton for collaborating on this critical work.
