VA-ECMO for Acute Cardiogenic Shock: Can We Improve Outcomes?

• Review the history and rationale for VA-ECMO for cardiogenic shock

• Discuss the current evidence for VA-ECMO use in acute cardiogenic shock

• Describe the contemporary role of VA-ECMO for eCPR
