WHO WE ARE
John Fehr has been involved in all things
trucks since 1973. He established Trucks
Unlimited in 1992 when the company first
started selling a mixed selection of trucks of all descriptions. John quickly recognized a
gap in the local market and knew what the
area needed—quality used trucks in the
medium and heavy categories (Class 6, 7 and 8). Since that
time, the company has continued to grow and is now in the enviable position of having an
unparalleled reputation for service and
quality—selling used trucks throughout
Canada and well into the United States.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Headquartered in southern Manitoba has provided Trucks Unlimited with the perfect location for doing business to virtually any point in Canada. Over 10 years ago, an agreement was made with Freightliner for the sale of new trucks, parts and service for eastern Manitoba and has earned the dealership a solid reputation for reliability. Since Trucks Unlimited moved into its new facility in 2003, the company has expanded twice to accommodate additional business.
Recently, Trucks Unlimited announced they’d be carrying another highly regarded American product line—Mahindra Tractor. Mahindra is widely recognized as a premier tractor, having earned the distinction as the number one selling tractor in the world. In addition, the dealership now also carries the Country Clipper line—very well known for its premier Zero Turn Mower.

Trucks Unlimited carries with it the same philosophy that John Fehr recognized at a very young age. He made it his mission to become familiar with every kind of truck and truck specification on the market and his main goal was to ensure customers would end up with the right truck for them, not just a sale for him. He knew the more satisfied his clients were with their vehicles, the more likely they’d be to come back again. And by sticking to that philosophy, Trucks Unlimited has become known as the place with the right people, the right truck, and the right attitude!

From its very inception and all the way
through to today, Trucks Unlimited
has been a family business. Company President John Fehr remains at the helm,
while John’s wife Mathilda Fehr serves
as the Secretary Treasurer. Rounding things out are son-
in-law Doug Bergen who’s role is Director
of Marketing and son-in-law Larry Buhler
working as Director of Parts. In addition to
this close-knit group of course, a long list
of other important family members and essential staff have
all contributed to the remarkable success of
Trucks Unlimited.
