THE NICENE CREED
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father,*
with the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
All remain standing for the

All Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

THE INVITATION TO HOLY COMMUNION
The Presider continues
THE ADMINISTRATION OF COMMUNION
All who love God and are drawn to Jesus are welcome to receive Holy Communion. You do not need to be a member of
this or any other church. This is a feast of God’s bounty, and all are invited. Come forward by the center aisle. You may
receive from the ministers who are standing on the pulpit side of the chancel steps, or from the ministers at the Altar rail. To receive the bread, place your hands outstretched palms up. To receive the chalice, hold it at its base and guide it to
your lips. If you would prefer to receive a blessing instead of communion, please cross your arms across your chest; a priest will say a prayer with you. The chalice in front of the pulpit contains non-alcoholic wine; to receive a gluten-free wafer
please proceed to the communion rail and speak directly to the priest.
