Hello friends! Welcome to the fi rst edition of the Daily Splash, your one stop newsletter to fi nd out all about the latest goings on at Splash World.

I’ve been very busy recently and after attending turtle school have been learning how to write my own newsletter so that I can keep you up to date with all the exciting news, special offers and exclusive surprises for you at Splash World.

I hope you like my newsletter, but if there is anything that I have missed out or you would like to know more about, I hope you will let me know!

I hope to send out my newsletter every quarter, why don’t you write to me and let me know about what you have been up to or send me in a photo and I might be able to print it in my newsletter, and don’t forget, for every letter I print you receive a special prize from me!

Turtle makes a splash at seaside resort!April 2010 Issue 1

Free stuffFinding fun stuff to do during the school holidays and after school can be hard sometimes but just popping next door to Dunes and in Splash World there are loads of fun activities to do. Feel out of your depth on the rides? Don’t forget we now have free swimming lessons for everyone 11-111 to help you gain your confi dence in the water. Just complete your details or contact Julie at reception.

School HolidaysDuring the school holidays there’s never any reason to be bored as Free & Active is running so if you are aged 8 – 16 you can come along and hang out with your friends all day every day!

From Monday - Friday from 10:00am - 12:00pm and then again from 2:00pm - 4:00pm there’s loads to do on Free & Active including free swimming at Dunes, Tae Kwon Do, golf, water polo and street cheer (to name some of my favourites) not to mention the climbing wall, performance trailer and interactive trailer which sometimes comes along!

Younger VisitorsFor all my younger friends Active Totz is a great way for you to have fun and get the grown ups active too! Taking place at Splash World every Tuesday from 1:00pm –2:00pm this fun activity is for all my friends aged 2-5 years of age. Why don’t you join in the fun and take part in the games and activities as we learn together how to eat healthy and enjoy fun sports with music and a qualifi ed coach to help us along the way. At just £2.00 a child and with a 50% discount for registered child minders you can join in for my pocket money and you never know, I might just drop in to see you with your weekly reward!

From totz to kids to teens, I don’t forget my older friends and run Active Kidz every week at Dunes Splash World for my friends aged between 5-8 years. A fun way to learn about healthy eating and enjoy new sports, my coaching friends will reward you for all your hard work as you collect your stamps on the Active Kidz passport to get lots of cool FREE goodies.

Each month there are lots of activities for my friends who might have additional needs which are run in partnership with my friends in the Positive Futures Team.

Some of these activities take place at Splash World on exclusive evenings including Quiet Nights (for visitors with a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum) and Splash Ability (for visitors with a disability).

Alternatively, PHAB club is available for friends who have additional needs and who would like to take part in sports at Splash World.
