Our future projects Develop the terms of reference for the

membership of the group Reach out to businesses with the pur-

pose of partnering with them in ARC linkage projects

Host a community event to raise peo-ple’s awareness about the various threats and attacks

Reach out to government departments with the purpose of doing research for them

Develop journals and conferences rank-ings list relevant to the cyber security group

Our short term goals

In the short term, the Group aims to estab-lish a clear identity for its members, produce focused research output and build linkages with individuals, businesses and institutions.

Our long term goals

In the long term, the Group aims to achieve a rating of three for FOR 0806 in the 2018 ERA assessment by producing at least 50 publications in ERA 2010 ranked A*/A jour-nals and attracting at least three million dol-lars in external funding.
