The activity is a part of the VAV project - Ministry of theEnvironment of the Czech Republic - SPIII 9/23/07 "Contribution of the Czech Republic to detection of the stageof the Ozone layer of the Earth and solar UV radiation in Antarctica, paleoclimate and paleogeographic reconstructionof the selected area of Antarctica and the related geologicalresearch studies and mapping."

Cooperation with Argentina is the result of close cooperation in matters relating to the Antarctic between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Argentinain 2010.

The Czech Government approved a cooperation agreement with Resolution No. 1431 of 23rd November 2009.
