Note: This diagram is a 2014 re-rendering of

the original U.S. derived hand-drawn chart

which has been online for some time; the

origins of the original are unknown - despite

research. Given the inclusion of the KGB

and YSA, it is apparent that the original

version surfaced between 1986 - (and no

later than) 1991 which is when the USSR

dissolved. The intention with this version

was to make the chart easier to follow with

relevant colour coding, and of course with

links to information on the relevant
