The Conservatory Flamenco Casa Patas Foundation was founded in 2000 with the aim of becoming a center of all activities related to teaching, research and promotion of singing, playing and dancing flamenco, and the promotion of Spanish cuisine and culture.
“The object of the Foundation is teaching, broadcasting, divulgation and promotion of Flamenco in all its demonstrations,
as the music, the dance and the songs of the peoples of Spain, its cuisine and culture”
But our goals reach much further. Some of them go through provide a platform for divulgation of Flamenco thanks to the organization outdoor workshops and courses for all customers’ profile.
Our long experience as a Conservatory encourages us to promote this type of workshops in which the flamenco is an innovative tool of cohesion, making feel to our participants an enjoyable and unforgettable experience, whiles we divulging our culture.
Casa Patas Foundation is in the downtown
Music in general, and especially Flamenco, is unique as an instrument in promoting creativity, coordination, attention and listening capacity, communication, body language and cohesion.
In a word: learning Through exercises of dance, of percussion, of palms and castanets, the different teams strengthen their personal relations, compa-nionship, organizational skills and coordination, teamwork, confidence in themselves and leadership skills. All this without forget-ting its high educational and cultural diffusion component. These workshops of Flamenco are promoted among foreign students and national groups, managers and employees of companies, amateur and tourists.

DANCE WORKSHOP
The Casa Patas Foundation develops different type of workshops (simple and / or rotational) in which

For about two hours of experience, all participants, divided into groups, will pass throughout each of the above areas. Therefore the last minutes of the activities, the group is involve in putting together all the areas learned as if they were a professional
flamenco group.

Participants do not need special attire. They have just to wear comfortable clothes and com-fortable shoes. The instruments are provided by the Foundation Casa Patas and to finalize ac-tivity, each castanet will be taken as a souvenir.
Our teachers are professional ar-tists. They combine teaching with the stage. Workshops are taught either in Spanish and English.
