Goals of the ”High Level expert Forum on Mobility”:
- 2012: at least 15% of the youth population (900.000 participants);
- 2015: at least 30% of the youth population (1.800.000 participants)
- 2020: at least 50% of the youth population (2.900.000 participants)
- Currently: app. 300.000 participants
The rationale for mobility:
- Intercultural understanding- Labour market mobility- International skills- Employability
Barriers to mobility:
- Low level of awareness among actors and stakeholders;
- Recognition of stays abroad;- Financing
Quality in mobility:
- Definition of criteria- Implementation (buy-in of actors and
stakeholders)
Pedagogical quality assurance:
Pre-departure:- Selection- Preparation
- linguistic- cultural- practical- psychological- pedagogical
Pedagogical quality assurance:
During stay:
- Accompaniment and follow-up of learning processes (monitoring and mentoring)
Pedagogical quality assurance:
Upon return:- Evaluation of learning (intended and unintended
learning)- Perspectivation (discussion of experiences)- Recognition- Guidance- Reintegration
Support for mobility:
- 12 development projects (15-22 months)- ”Promoting mobility of apprentices and other
