Johann Gutenberg took a wine press & transformed it for printing. BOOKS WERE WRITTEN BY HAND BEFORE PRESS…

In 1456, he made 180 copies of the first printed book: a Bible.

Page 13: The color is yellow & ORANGE. REFORM : to put or change into an improved form or condition

Only 49 copies of these Bibles survive today. The last time a Gutenberg Bible sold,

it went for $2.4 million.

Page 16: The color is yellow & ORANGE. REFORM : to put or change into an improved form or condition

The Church of England & Henry VIII

Henry wanted t divorce because his first wife didn’t bear a male heir to his throne AND was old

Church didn’t grant him a divorce but he was able to manipulate the situation to get one and broke away from the Catholic Church to start his own so he could do what he wanted.

1st wife-divorced, 2nd wife-(originally a mistress) has a girl (Elizabeth) frames her for cheating and kills her. 3rd wife has son but dies in childbirth, 4th wife short marriage & divorce, 5th wife was 19 and flirty so he killed her, 6th & final wife outlived him but he almost killed her as well!

Calvin said, “…

“We call predestination God’s eternal decree, by which He determined what He willed to become of each man. For all are not created in equal condition; rather, eternal life is ordained for some, eternal damnation for others.”
