LA COLONIA DE LOS NIÑOS DE LA CHACARITA

WHAT IS THE COLONIA?• The Colonia is a creative and constructive

space of non-formal education for street children.

What’s its main goal? • To develop tools and creative processes

for children to improve their environment for themselves.

Gradually remove children from situations of risk (violence, accidents, drugs) to which they are exposed when they play on the street.

MISSION

MISSIONTo provide street children with a constructive, sustainable and safe place

of creative expression and discovery of talents. We hope this will help children develop leadership tools to build a future with better quality of life.

The Future

• To become a Sustainable Talent Development Center to help these children and youths to find their purpose in life and to serve as a bridge to provide them with the opportunity to become college students.
