Submission Deadling April 10, 2018Papers will be judged on the clarity of writing, the centrality of gender and gendered themes within the paper and the sophistication and analytical merit
of the themes and arguments made by the author. Judges will also take into account the disciplinary background of the author/paper - some aspects of
what makes for a great paper in English may be different from makes for a great paper in psychology, etc.
All entries must come from currently enrolled students. Papers must be solo authored and 30 pages or less. Theses and dissertations are not

Please solicit papers from your students and email them to Kimbery Kelly by April 10. Faculty, if you are willing to serve as a judge for the competition,
please contact Kimbery Kelly as well. The competition is in need of two judges for the undergrad competition and two for the graduate competition.
