National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an annual month-long novel writing program encouraging adults and children to try their hand at writing. To launch the events calendar, the City’s Knowledge Centre will be hosting a NaNoWriMo Introductory Session on Thursday 10 October, outlining how you can get involved and what events are coming up. Bookings will be taken from Tuesday 8 October 2013. Please call Senior Services on 9391 6037. Ghost Walks Ghost walks are a great way to exercise, socialise and learn some local history. Submissions should be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer and be lodged with the City before the given deadline. DRAFT CULTURAL PLAN 2014 - 2016 A draft Cultural Plan has been developed for the City of Gosnells for the three year period from 2014 to 2016 inclusive. Public comment is sought on the draft Cultural Plan and respondents are encouraged to focus on providing feedback on the Action Plan section. The desired outcome of the draft Cultural Plan is to provide a forward plan for the provision of arts and culture within the local community. Submissions close: Tuesday 5 November 2013.
