it is coming. When our Lord

was here, He said: "No One

Knows the Time, except my

Father." There it is. So, what

do I do about it? Do I throw

all caution to the wind? Do I

just give up and forget about

Christ and Faithfulness to

Him? Well, some folks

have. The devil uses every

device he can to destroy our

faith. He will use our doubts

and fears; our hurts and

disappointments; our lack of

faith; and, most of all, our

Will Power!

We need to determine that no

matter what happens we will

keep the faith. We will be

faithful all our days, so we

can hear Him say: "Well

Done Good And Faithful

Servant."

Honestly, I have seen many

years come and go. I have

also wondered about the

promise of the Lord, but what

I need to do is to prepare

myself, and all others whom

I can reach, to live the

righteous life, so I can be in

heaven with all the redeemed

of all ages.

That should be our desire.

Keep the faith. Be a servant

of the Lord. Live life as

though this was your last year

on earth. Be faithful unto

death, and thank God that we

can serve Him while here.

FEW DAYS LEFT From the Desk of Dan Carter

It is hard to believe that the

year 2017, is about to end.

Only a few more days.

Often, you have heard me say

that God's time table is not on

our schedule. What we desire,

we want it now. God does

not operate on our time. He

is eternity. That is completely

different from what we are

used to. We need to remember

what Simon Peter said in the

end of Second Peter. He

declares that "One day is with

the Lord, a thousand years,

and a thousand years is as one

day". See? It is so hard for us

to understand this. Like

Simon said: "Some are saying

'nothing is going to happen'

for all things continue as they

have always been. My grandpa

died, my daddy died, and still,

the Lord has not come!" Fact

of the matter is: God does not

work on our schedule!

For us, we are one year nearer

the grave. We see time

passing by. We get anxious.

We want to see the Lord's

return. Sure enough, Peter

says, It Will Happen, but only

on God's terms, not ours.

So, this year has almost ended.

People run to and fro. We

continue to lose loved ones.

Our kids grow older and our

hair turns gray. What next?

The point is: We Need To Be

Prepared. No One knows

when the end will come; but,
