Dear Members
Ihope this finds you all well The Leaguewill be holding our next board meetingusing a virtual meeting computer programcalled Zoom which allows us to hear and
see one another on the computer rather than inperson
Please note that due to the coronavirus theLeague will not be conducting a monthly
membership meeting in April In addition our reservation at the PensacolaYacht Club for our Annual Meeting has been cancelled and will be conductedusing the same on-line program as the board meeting The Annual Meeting isscheduled for Saturday May 2nd at 1000 am You will be receivinginstructions on how to log in to Zoom to attend the meeting Please plan toattend this on-line meeting in order to meet the required quorum (which is 20of membership) and to vote on changes in the Bylaws elect the new slate ofofficers approve the budget for the coming year and vote on the Leaguersquoslocal program It is imperative to transition to the new board so that ourLeague can be up and running when the virus threat has passed

Article IV OFFICERSSection 2 The President The President shall preside at allmeetings of the organization and of the Board of DirectorsThe President may in the absence or disability of theTreasurer sign or endorse checks drafts and notes ThePresident shall be ex officio a member of all committeesexcept the Nominating Committee The President shall havesuch usual powers of supervision and management as maypertain to the office of the President and perform such otherduties as may be designated by the Board In the event theNominating committee is unsuccessful in filling thenomination for President the Executive Committee(composed of First Vice-President Second Vice-PresidentSecretary and Treasurer) and one director elected by theBoard) shall serve in that capacity until the position is filled
