Culpeper Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Spotlight:

Irene Karedis Borys, {CYBERBILITY}In 2015, Irene Karedis Borys, newlywed spouse to Gregory Alan

Borys (grad school sweetheart) moved after years of fast paced DC career, when work with web dev creative agency Cyberbility, based in Fredericksburg, led her to open a Culpeper office early that year.

A desire to set local roots, a mind set to serve her community, and a passion to see clients thrive in the rapidly evolving digital environment has led Irene to several notable achievements in this time.

In Culpeper, she serves Chamber committees for Marketing, Banquet, Women’s and Business Development & Advocacy, newly chairs Culpeper’s Piedmont Area Soapbox Derby Sponsorship Committee and contributes a column to the Culpeper Times - Cyber Bytes, with tips on how to grow business online.

Volunteering nearby, Irene has taught businesses in the counties of Orange, Greene, Louisa and Albemarle - in social media, to harness review sites for growth, and to structure websites for search results. Pro-bono projects of Irene’s support a construction of a veterans memorial in a nearby town, as well as a new charity to help terminally ill children and their families.

These values, skills and initiative are the qualities that inspired YP to identify Irene as awardee for the 2016 Lead Culpeper YP Scholarship.

Irene welcomes connecting at her office co-located with the Chamber 629 Sperryville Pike, Suite 203, in Culpeper, phone 540 374 5062, email [email protected], twitter @IreneKBorys and LinkedIn.
