Families and individuals will have resources and support to escape the cycle of poverty.
2015 was an incredible year for the Center for Family Resources. We celebrated a huge milestone: our 55th year of serving local families. We are truly blessed to have so many individuals and businesses who care for our mission and share our goal of breaking the cycle of poverty in Cobb County. Thanks to you, we can continue providing the hand up to empower our neighbors in need to become stable and self-sufficient. Your continued support of our cause is never lost on us; for helping to make this organization one of the most impactful aid agencies in Metro Atlanta, you have our neverending gratitude. We know that each new year brings big changes to our community, and we look forward to much collaboration and reward in our partnerships with each and every one of you throughout 2016 and beyond. We hope you enjoyed 2015 as much as we did and look forward to sharing our new successes this year.
Move people to self-sufficiency through financial stabilization, housing and education.

The 2015 Thanks For Giving drive was a huge success!Hundreds of volunteers turned out and gave generously
of their time and effort to help us sort more than 70,000 donated food items weighing in at over 65,000 pounds.
The Cobb County community came together with indelible spirit, and more than 1200 of our neighboring families
left with the ingredients for a home-cooked holiday meal. Between community donations and the Center for
Family Resources board fundraising efforts, we raised almost $100,000 to ensure that each family would also
recieve a $15 grocery gift card. We were fortunate as well to have enough donated items remaining to see
our food pantry through the rest of the holiday season.
