WELCOME

Big Canoe Chapel welcomes Sam Holmes back home as Chapel Pianist, after a two-year teaching opportunity out West. Sam has returned to Atlanta to pursue a Ph.D in Teaching and Learning at Georgia State University, where he also has a Teaching Assistance role. Sam's re-search will, of course, focus on music. Sam returns as pianist, after having played here for 12 years. We welcome Sam and are glad he has returned "home."

Christian Believer Bible study will resume on Wednesday, September 16 at 4:30pm. All are welcome. The study will begin with, “The Body of Christ in the World.” For those with participant study manuals it is chapter 21. The Vespers Service will resume on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:00pm. This is a thirty minute service with singing, a brief devotional, and intercessory prayer. The Chapel will be open prior to the service for anyone who would like to come early for prayer and meditation. A men’s reading and devotional group focusing upon the writings of C.S. Lewis will meet Tuesday, September 8 at 9:00am in the teen room. All men are invited. For more information contact Len Walker.
