A message from Father Quentin…

We celebrate the feast of Epiphany today as the conclusion of our Christmas season with the Baptism of the Lord falling on Monday this year.

One of the focuses of the Epiphany is upon the Magi that come to offer homage to the King of Kings. We can see prophesy's of a visit like this in Psalm 72:10-11, "May the kings of Tarshish and the islands bring tribute, the kings of Arabia and Seba offer gifts. May all kings bow before him, all nations serve him." and also in Isaiah 60:3,6, "Nations shall walk by your light, and kings by your shining radiance. Caravans of camels shall fill you, dromedaries from Midian and Ephah; All from Sheba shall come bearing gold and frankincense, and proclaiming the praises of the Lord." Christian legend has named these three kings or magi Balthasar, Gaspar, and Melchior.

Let us show our honor, respect, and worship to the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's, Jesus Christ.

May God Bless you.

Welcome to all our visitors!

If you are new to the area and would like to join oneof our four parishes, or are visiting and need anything

Reflection…….

Our homes are where ‘Church’ begins. In this new year, focus on how you can be a reflection of Christ to all the members of your family.

Church of the Home Prayer

Your love, O God, is our source of courage and hope.

Your love is our strength when we are lonely, frustrated, and discouraged when activities pull us away from one another.

Help us to recognize your presence in our family as we support and care for each other.

May our family time ring with laughter and our actions speak of the love that holds us together.

Loving God, we offer our family life to you as we try to model your love shown to us in your Son, Jesus.

Amen.
