The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption’s Saturday, 4:30 p.m. Vigil Mass is taped and broadcast at 5:00 p.m. every Sunday on: WLWT – channel 5-2 ME-TV, Cincinnati Bell Fioptics – channel 23 and 291; Spectrum – Northern KY channel 188; Spectrum – Hamilton County channel 993. ME TV is an affiliate of NBC/WLWT. The airing covers the Diocese of Covington, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, partially the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and the Diocese of Lexington.

Care of the Sick – If you know of a parishioner who is in the hospital or care center who would like a visit from the parish clergy, please contact Sister Barbara Woeste at the Parish Office. Because of the privacy laws, oftentimes we do not receive a phone call from the institution. We rely on family or friends to let us know when someone is in the hospital.

Turkey Festival – St. Augustine Parish, 1839 Euclid Avenue, Covington, 12:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019. Proceeds will go toward St. Augustine’s 2020 Capital Campaign. The Cathedral Concert Series continues its 44th Season on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. with a special Musical Tribute to our area Veterans of Military Service. All are invited to show their gratitude and support of our local heroes. Each branch of service will be recognized. Featured performers are the 95-voice Sycamore Community Choir and the Seven Hills Brass Ensemble. Both Cathedral Organs will be played by Donald Hurd and Gregory Schaffer. Turkey Trot – 9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019 - St. Vincent de Paul – NKY will host the 12th Annual Turkeyfoot Trot 5K race/walk beginning and ending at Thomas More University. Proceeds benefit its ministry of direct service (emergency financial assistance, food, and basic necessities) to our neighbors-in-need. Preregister by November 21st at www.svdpnky.org and entry is $25.00 for adults/$20.00 for children 14 years or younger. T-shirts are $10.00 Day of registration is at 7:30 a.m. and costs $30.00 for adults/$25.00 for children 14 years or younger. Free kids’ fun run, door prizes and food donated by local restaurants.
