PLYMOUTH — TLC Transportation can meet just about all of your transportation needs.
“We go all over,” said Tom Wollenberg, owner of Thomas Livery Corp., which does
business as TLC Transportation.Wollenberg said TLC does
everything from transportation for proms, weddings and anniversaries to birthdays, special occasions, corporate outings and wine trails.
They also do airport trips, brewery tours trips, casino outings and any other kind of occasion.
“We’re a multi-faceted transportation company,” said Wollenberg.
TLC provides group or individual transportation, having limos, motor coaches, special needs vans and other
types of vehicles.“You name it, we got it,” said
Wollenberg. “We target a lot of different audiences.”
TLC also does school bus transportation for public and private schools.
The only thing they are not, Wollenberg said, is a taxi cab service or an Uber.
Aside from that, the company works with customers wherever they need to go, whenever.
“We operate 24/7,” Wollenberg said.
“If we can’t do something, we’ll help the person find another vendor, but that happens very
rarely.”“If we can do it, we do it,”
Wollenberg said, adding that it’s not uncommon for customers to request transportation to airports in both Connecticut and New York.
“I’ve got buses that go to Washington, D.C.,” he said.
Wollenberg also said all drivers have been subject to thorough background checks and continuous drug testing.
“Anybody that drives for us is fully vetted through federal standards and state statutes,” he said.
