Six Basic Steps to Brainstorming
1. Announce/Determine the topic, problem2. Take a few minutes to think & write ideas3. Everyone contributes ideas4. Any additional suggestions are added5. Entire list recorded on the board/paper6. Discuss ideas to narrow choices (focus on the good)

Every idea gets the chance to grow wings and fly.
If it is not a strong enough idea, it will crash and die on its own.
It is not YOUR personal job to attack an idea you do not like.
Instead of criticizing the ideas you dislike, praise the ones you do like!
EVERYONE is expected to participate in brainstorming sessions. You never know when you are going to have that brilliant idea we were looking for.
