28th International Trade Show of Lighting Equipment LIGHT 2020 18th International Trade Show of Electric Equipment
and Security System ELECTRICITY 2020
February 5th – 7 th, 2020 Warsaw, Poland
The 28th edition of the International Trade Show LIGHT and the 18th edition of the International Trade Show ELECTRICITY are one of the most important industry events in 2020, not only in Poland but also in Europe, presenting products, technologies, innovations from the broadly understood area of lighting, electrical engineering, automation, telecommunication and new technologies.
Both events were supplemented by five special exhibition zones: • Electromobility, • Building Automation, • Lighting of public areas, • Telecommunication –
10th Telecommunication Exhibition 2020 • Renewable Energy Systems Visitors could meet more than 260 exhibitors displaying thousands of products and innovative solutions as well as visit the 4th edition of the Open Interior - a special design space arranged by the architect Justyna Smolec.
This year the Open Interior project referred to the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus and was devoted to intelligent home and building automation solutions. Light 2020 and Electricty 2020 consisted of exhibitions and training sessions. Trainings, workshops and discussion meetings were an integral part of the events.
• 262 exhibitors from Poland and over dozen other countries • 4 exhibition halls - over 12 thousand sq meters of occupied space • 6,801 visitors • 21 trainings, including 17 trainings organized with the Polish Chamber of Construction Engineers for
electrical designers, supervision inspectors, installers, people working in energy companies, contracting and designing companies, industrial and service companies, data centers and companies performing works for the needs of construction.

This year's edition was visited by 6,801 persons. It is worth emphasizing that the number of visitors from abroad is increasing every year. Nearly 1,000 visitors from abroad have been reported. This edition was dominated by guests from European Union countries (including Germany, Italy, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Great Britain, France and the Baltic States) as well as Norway, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Middle East countries, Central African States.
The Trade Shows have also an exceptionally rich program of accompanying events, such as workshops,
discussion panels and industry consultations, as well as exhibitions and shows for visitors. Many
competitions have been resolved at this year's events, prestigious awards and distinctions have been
handed out - among them prizes for The Best Presented Products, Awards of the Polish Chamber of Civil

Open Interior Zone
Specially arranged exhibition space Open Interior - honoring the hundredth anniversary of the creation of
Bauhaus and discussion panels on modern
technologies.
The motto of the Open Interior were smart
technologies and design out of concern for the comfort of life. The practical application of BMS and HMS
solutions were presented. The demonstrations were accompanied by discussion panels of invited specialists.
The meetings were attended by well known designers and architects.
The unique atmosphere of the Open Interior was complemented by a gallery of projects created as part of
two competitions for students of architecture and industrial design faculties: the Rhythm of Light
Competition - a house in line with the ideas of the Bauhaus and the Sustainable Lamp Competition.

The following competitions were carried out as part of the Trade Shows: • Competition for the Best Presented Product, • Competition for the Best Illuminated Municipality and City of 2019, • Competition for the Best Lighting Investment of 2019, • Rhythm of Light and Sustainable Lamp Competition, • Competition for the Best Exhibition Stand, • Building of Mazovia 2019 competition with the best telecommunication installation • Personality of the Year 2019 competition The awards were presented during the grand opening of the Fair. The ceremony was attended by Minister Wojciech Murdzek, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Development. Trade Show LIGHT 2020 and Trade Show ELECTRICITY 2020 offered a wide and attractive training program in the field of electrical, telecommunication installations, renewable energy and construction law for 1,346 specialists. As part of the fair, a series of 21 trainings and specialist workshops were organized and addressed to:
architects, designers,
electrical designers,
supervision inspectors,
installers,
representatives of power plants,
investors,
housing developers and cooperatives,
local government representatives,
representatives of contractors,
representatives of industrial plants.
Workshops "Get to know your employer"
During the TELECOMMUNICATION 2020 Exhibition the third edition of the "Get to know your employer" workshop on error-free practices in installations was organized. Exercises were conducted by experts of the Polish Chamber of Digital Broadcasting and the Polish

Teletechnics Association XXI. 170 students took part in the classes organized in groups by technical high schools from all over Poland. Each student who completes the full training cycle has received a special diploma.
