The Process: Everyone Can Play A Role
Students 1. What do you need and want? 2. Communicate. 3. Remain open.
Program Coordinators/Faculty 1. Partner to establish objectives and outcomes 2. Create opportunities for reflection 3. Utilize technology 4. Keep in touch with site supervisor. 5. If possible, visit the students and supervisor on site.

The Process: Everyone Can Play A Role
Institutions/Site Supervisors 1. Develop a calendar 2. Provide materials about the host institution. 3. Allow interns to be responsible for a project. 4. Speak with the interns during the application process about your institution and community. 5. Provide financial incentives/assistance (housing, meals, stipends). 6. Provide office space, office supplies, access to wireless network, transportation, etc. 7. Serve as employment reference and mentor.
