“Bless be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love...”

John 8:32 says “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

In July we observe and celebrate, as citizens of America, a document that es-tablished our country’s freedom from another. The founders of our countrydesired freedom and wrote The Declaration Of Independence dated July 4,1776.

God desired freedom for His people. God’s freedom was a release from theshackles and bonds of sin. To accomplish this, God sent His Son to free usfrom the devastating effects of sin. The truth is that Jesus stood in our placeto account for our sin and therefore set us free. Jesus went on to say in John

8:36, “If the Son sets you free, you really will be free.”We are free indeed!

As a country we celebrate the freedom of a country once a year. As Christians, we celebrate thefreedom that Jesus provides each and every day. I encourage all of us to intentionally thinkabout this truth daily.

Looking forward to seeing you all in July!

its church campus.

• Sunday Worship will continue to be streamed on Facebook Live for the foreseeable future.

• On-campus Sunday School classes will resume on Sunday, June 7, at the discretion of each class.

• On-campus Wednesday night activities will resume on Wednesday, August 5.

Beginning with Sunday, July 5, we will be requiring that face masks be worn as we gather to-
