Each Best Result is converted as follows:

3A’s, 4B’s, 1CLet A = 5, B = 4, C = 3

3*5 + 4*4 + 1*3 = 15+16+1 = 32

A candidate with 3A’s, 4B’s, 1Cis converted to 32323232 using thesubstitution as illustrated

This conversion is done so as to get a statisticwhich measures the quality of Pupils result.

� MixedMixedMixedMixed schools’schools’schools’schools’ performance is excellent in both “Best Result”analysis and “Percentage of Passes”. None of BoysBoysBoysBoys orororor GirlsGirlsGirlsGirlsOnlyOnlyOnlyOnly came close, however BoysBoysBoysBoys OnlyOnlyOnlyOnly perform better than GirlsGirlsGirlsGirlsOnlyOnlyOnlyOnly.

� The relationship between School Fees and Performance is notwell defined; though schools with high fees show more in topperformance.

� Nigerian CurriculumCurriculumCurriculumCurriculum is the most preferred, either in “BestResult” analysis or Percentage of Passes.

� In this analysis; Age is just a number when it comes toPerformance. Younger schools really outperformed older ones.
