Cadbury Creme Egg - Beautiful Name

The advert starts with a shot to set the scene, and a man to the right looking in his mirror. The bed being in the centre draws the most attention, which later on, will add to the message of the advertisement.

It then shows an over the shoulder shot of himself in the mirror and a creme egg poster on his wall. He also asks “What’s your name?” to it then says to himself “Egg?” which adds the element of humour to the advert.

Finally he says into the camera “That’s a beautiful name” and smiles. The above message appearing shortly after. A fling is considered a short relationship with someone, which also relates to the short amount of time it takes to eat a creme egg. This makes it all the more humorous.

Crunchy Nut - French Revolution

The advert begins in an older setting, as the title suggests, the french revolution. There are men walking to a shop, this makes the audience wonder what they are looking for.

Coming towards the end of the advertisement, the trap door is lifted and reveals the two men, who have only been found because the man on the left took a bite from his Crunchy Nut. This adds humour as they would have stayed safe if he hadn’t eaten.

Just after the men walk in, it cuts to a shot of the floor, and what looks like a trap door, this catches the audience's attention and tells them that it is of significance.

Barclaycard Bespoke - Gok Wan

The advert starts with a woman on her tablet, looking at the bespoke offers from Barclaycard. She then proceeds to leave with her children for lunch.

After the woman arrives at the cafe and purchases her food, she spills coffee on her coat. She then pulls out her phone and seems to either text or use a certain app. It would make sense for her to be using a Barclaycard application in this instance.

Shortly after, Gok Wan appears with a runway in the middle of the cafe, showcasing new coats for the women. She then picks the turquoise one, Gok Wan and the model present the coat to her and another woman tries to do the same, they laugh as this woman clearly does not have Bespoke offers.
