THE BEAR AND THE TRAVELLERSTwo travellers were walking slowly along acountry road. They were going to the city becausethey were looking for work. They were tiredbecause they had walked twenty miles and theywere hungry because they hadn't eaten all day.Suddenly. in the woods in front of them, they sawa huge bear. The men were terrified. One of themran away, climbed tree, and hid.The other man fell to the ground and pretendedto be dead. He had heard that bears don't likeeating dead meal. The bear came towards him. Itbent down, sniffed him, and whispered somethingin his ear. Then it wandered away.After the bear had gone, the other man camedown from his tree and went to see how his friendwas. He wanted to know what the bear had saidto him.'The bear gave me some advice', said hiscompanion. 'He said: Next time you go on ajourney, travel with someone who won't leave youat the first sign of danger.'The moral of this history is... choose your friendscarefully!
EL OSO Y LOS VIAJEROSDos viajeros estaban caminando lentamente a lo largo de unpas por carretera. Iban a la ciudad porqueque estaban buscando trabajo. Estaban cansadosporque haban caminado veinte millas ytenan hambre porque no haba comido en todo el da.De repente. en el bosque en frente de ellos, vieronun enorme oso. Los hombres estaban aterrorizados. Uno de ellosse escap, se subi rbol, y se escondi.El otro hombre cay al suelo y fingiestar muerto. Haba odo que los osos no les gustacomer comida muerta. El oso se acerc a l. lose agach, lo oli, y le susurr algoen su odo. Luego se alej.Despus de que el oso se haba ido, el otro hombre se acercpor debajo de su rbol y fue a ver cmo su amigoestaba. Quera saber lo que el oso le haba dicho.'El oso me dio un consejo'dijo sucompaero. 'l dijo: La prxima vez que vayas en unviaje, viaja con alguien que no te dejara la primera seal de peligro.La moraleja de esta historia es ... elige a tus amigoscon cuidado!
