The Barrel House is a breathtaking, historic building in downtown Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. We are committed to providing an unparalleled experience for all of our guests. It is the perfect setting for a wide variety of events including, but not limited to:

The Barrel House is a beautifully restored historic 3-story industrial warehouse which now serves as a modern venue with luxurious accommodations. Our venue is never rented to more than one group at a time. In addition, we offer packages and options that appeal to a wide variety of needs and budgets. You have full access to the upper and lower patios, with views of Downtown Chambersburg. The Barrel House is within walking distance to downtown businesses, restaurants, breweries and a winery.

Intrigued by our building but not looking to host an event? Consider staying overnight with us! Our luxury master suite on the second floor offers a host of amenities including a cedar sauna and a massive ensuite with a Jacuzzi tub. The third floor includes accommodations for a larger number of guests along with a kitchenette, lounge areas, and a full bathroom.

All packages include:Private usage of the venue during your hours of rental with flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

You will see standard furnishings inside the venue while touring. When you rent the venue these are all included. If your event is larger, please refer to our options for outside seating for larger events. (included in packages as outlined)

THE BARREL HOUSE RENTAL INFORMATION

The venue accommodates: • 85 people for cocktail style events inside.

• 120 + people seated in one of our two outdoor patios

• Elevated upper patio (30 ft. x 45 ft.) / Lower paver patio (30 ft. x 45 ft.)

• Italian cafe lighting and remote controlled LED event lighting

• Tent anchors in case of inclement weather

Weddings and Events:The Barrel House hosts wedding ceremonies, receptions and various other events. We do not provide wedding planning services or event coordination. We have great relationships with many local vendors and would be happy to provide recommendations. Music and Audio VisualThe Barrel House has BOSE full-house audio. You may connect your device via Amazon audio Bluetooth or choose to use the hours of preloaded music. We also have ample room for DJs and bands outside.

There are smart TVs throughout the house with Roku, Xfinity, and HDMI connections.

Catering and The Barrel House Commercial Kitchen:The Barrel House has a commercial kitchen. We have many preapproved and preferred vendors. If your caterer intends to use our kitchen for their event they must contact us in advance for written permission and details.

Parking: The Barrel House has partnered with local business and organizations in Downtown Chambersburg and offers complimentary parking for each event. Handicap parking and loading zone are behind The Barrel House. Maps are available upon request and on our website.

Alcohol:The Barrel House is a BYOB establishment. Certain events require a RAMP-certified bartender at an additional hourly rate during the time alcohol is being provided. Alcohol service may not exceed 5 hours. We do not charge a corkage fee.
