WANTED: FISH FRY LEADER

Each Lenten Season is filled with activity as we host 6 weeks of Friday Night Fish Fry. After 20 years, Fish Fry is

still a great opportunity for our parish community to come together, eat and raise money!!!

In order to continue this important and vibrant event,

we need a dedicated volunteer (or more) to step forward and lead our Fish Fry Team. We cannot

continue this event without a leader and maybe that leader is YOU!

Please prayerfully consider this leadership role and

Help us make this the best Fish Fry ever!!!!

Adult Confirmation Classes Get Ready Now!!!

Are you an adult (18 or over) who has been baptized, received First Holy Communion but was

never Confirmed?

Registration for Adult Confirmation begins now.

Classes will be held from March 13 through May 15, 2016.

Registration must be received BEFORE March 13th. Please bring a current copy of your

Baptismal Record and a copy of your First Communion Record to the Parish Office.

The first meeting will be held following the 9 a.m. Mass on March 13, 2016.

Classes will be approximately one hour each and will be held every Sunday following the

9 a.m. Mass on the six Sundays following Easter.

Confirmation will be celebrated at the 5 p.m. Mass on Sunday, May 15, 2016.

Fee for the class is $10 to cover the cost of materials and those seeking confirmation must

attend 9 a.m. Mass and all classes.

SYRIAN RELIEF A few months ago, our community was

introduced to a young, Syrian, Christian family who was seeking religious asylum in the US

after being forced to flee from their home due to religious persecution. A group of concerned

parishioners has formed to meet and discuss ways that we can support this family. In this

special Year of Mercy, please join us to continue this conversation.

children enrolled in their second year of Religious Education regarding our Sacramental

Preparation Program. We begin with a MANDATORY parent meeting on Wednesday, January 13th at 7 pm. At this time, workbooks will be given to the parents along with pertinent

information regarding the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
