MASS INTENTIONS
An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

FAITH LIFE
St. Matthias Registration for the
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS Interested in becoming a Catholic? For adults, the usual way to become a member
of the Catholic Church is through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
RCIA is a gradual process of education and formation for those unbaptized, those
baptized in another Christian denomination, or baptized Catholic but who have not
received other sacraments (i.e. Eucharist or Confirmation) or formation in the faith. The RCIA program helps adults to
grow in their relationship with God and leads to the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil on
April 3, 2021.
RCIA sessions will begin mid-September and will be held at St. Marcellus Social Hall, 1340 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson,
PA 15344. Sessions will be held weekly with holiday breaks. Sessions will be scheduled to accommodate our participants
as conveniently as possible. These RCIA classes are also offered as “spiritual enrichment courses” for all our Catholic
parishioners. Anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic Christian Faith is encouraged to attend.
To indicate your interest, please contact Fr. Al McGinnis by email: [email protected]
or phone the parish office at 724-627-7568.
Also, the RCIA Enrollment Form is found on our website at www.stmatthiasgreene.org
under the heading Sacraments at the top of the Home page.
