A Peek at the Week This week students will learn more about Fire Safety in honor of Fire Prevention Month. We will read A Trip to the Firehouse , and learn more about firefighters. In this story, a group of school children visit their neighborhood firehouse and learn all about how firefighters do their jobs. We will also learn more about special nouns that need to be capitalized, as well as we will answer questions using complete sentences. In math, we will continue with Topic 16 - Time, Graphs, and Data. Students will learn how to use analog clocks and how to make and use different kinds of graphs. Uniforms are not required for school picture day. Students will get a chance to earn a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut each month through March. For every 14 take home books your child reads, they will earn a certificate for a free personal pan pizza. Each child can earn only one certificate per month.
