THE AVP IS BACK!

Founded in 1983, the AVP is the longest standing and most well-known American beach volleyball organization, facilitating national tournaments, developing new talent, invigorating comunities through sport, and promoting a beach volleyball lifestyle across the United States.

For the first time since 2019, the AVP is happy to once again host fans on the sand to witness the world’s best beach volleyball players up close & personal! The 2021 AVP Gold Series will consist of three tournaments: Atlanta, Manhattan Beach, and Chicago.

The action kicks wraps up Labor Day weekend in Chicago, from September 3rd-5th.

The final weekend of 2021 AVP Pro Tour is here! The AVP is returning to Chicago for the first time since 2019.

The Gold Series Chicago Open kicks off on September 3rd and is coming packed with action. Team USA is back from Tokyo, and all of your favorite AVP athletes are ready to compete for a slice of the $200,000 prize purse.

The Gold Series Chicago Open will take place at Oak Street Beach, right in the heart of the Windy City on the coast of Lake Michigan.

Chicago will be made up of 16 Main Draw teams (per gender) — 14 auto entries based on AVP Points & Seeding, and 2 teams from Thursday’s Qualifiers.
