CSMKAM AVVOLGIMENTI COMPANY is specialized for more than 4 decades in asynchronous electric motors
industry in both versions single phase and 3-phase.
The range of motor powers we produce varies between 0.06Kw (MEC56) & 315Kw (MEC355) for 3-phase motors,
and between 0.06Kw & 4 Kw for single phase motors.
We are also in position to produce and supply special motors such as:
- Long shaft electric motors.
- Compact electric motors.
- Self-breaking electric motors.
- Any other kind of electric motor under request.

PROTECTION DEGREE The three-phase and single-phase electric motors have protection degrees IP44, and IP54 IP55 according to the international standard norms of DIN/VDE 0530, IEC 34-5.
DESIGN The electric motor body is longitudinally ribbed, it is cooled outside by means of an in-built fan for surface cooling
ELECTRIC MOTOR BODY The electric motor bodies are made of: Aluminum alloy of high mechanical resistance: Sizes 56, 63,71and 80. Aluminum alloy or cast iron: Sizes 90,100 and 112 Cast iron: from size132 to size 355.
THE BEARING SHIELDS are made of the same material as that of the bodies of the respective sizes of
electric motors, pointed above.
THE FAN are made of plastics or aluminum alloy
THE FAN COVERS are made of sheet steel.
THE TERMINAL BOX is located on top and is rotable at every 90°C , the terminal box of the electric motors
from size 90 to 355 , with bodies made of cast iron , can be installed on the right or the left side of the body.
THE ELECTRIC MOTORS WINDING is made of enameled copper wire.
The rotor axial clearance is compensated by a spring washer.
DRIVING END OF THE SHAFT
The motors are usually made with a cylindrical end of the shaft with internal thread, according to DIN 748, IEC 72.

TYPE OF EXUCUTION
Depending on the way of mounting, the electric motors meet the requirements of the international standard norms
of IEC 72, DIN 42673 for form B3 and IEC 72, DIN 42677 for forms B5 and B14.
SUPPLY VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCY The electric motors are designed for normal voltage:
220V/380V for single-phase motors
220V/380V – connection ∆ / Υ for three-phase motors at 50HZ.
The admissible rated voltage deviation is ± 5%
And the admissible frequency deviation ± 1% .

TORQUE The torque of the shaft driving end of the electric motors in N.m can be calculated according to the formula:

P – Rated power in kw
N – Revolution per minute /RPM/.
INSULATION Our manufactured electric motors have insulation class B, F or H.
OPERATING CONDITIONS The electric motors are designed for continuous operation at duty S1 under normal climatic conditions « N », at
temperature to +40°C and altitude up 1000.
The electric motors can be manufactured for operating under tropical climatic conditions « T », as well as for other
operation cycles different from S1.
