The Art Tunnel Project and Designs by: Mike Madden, Rebecca DeCowsky, Sister Anye, Colleen Johnston Location This mural will be located in the tunnel between downtown Greensburg and Seton Hill University on College Ave. The location will serve two purposes: 1.) Beautifying a current standing structure and creating astatic appeal in the Greensburg Area 2.) The location between the Heart of Downtown Greensburg and Seton Hill University will help tourist and student appeal to Seton Hill and the surrounding Greensburg area. This will increase revenue by promoting tourism and boosting student enrollment. As downtown Greensburg prepares for the future it must not forget the past. Merging the tunnel, which was created in the past, with the modernity of a stylized mural, which will bring together both the community of Greensburg with the community of Seton Hill University. Enhancing the beauty of down town Greensburg with a simple coat of paint. Beautifying a monument of the past by createing a modern day murel.

Location    This  mural  will  be  located  in  the  tunnel  between  downtown  Greensburg  and  Seton  Hill  University  on  College  Ave.

Merging  the  tunnel,  which  was  created  in  the  past,  with  the  modernity  of  a

stylized  mural,  which  will  bring  together  both  the  community  of  Greensburg  with  the  community  of  Seton  Hill  University.

Enhancing  the  beauty  of  down  town  Greensburg  with  a  simple  coat  of  paint.

Beautifying  a  monument  of  the  past  by  createing  a  modern  day  murel.

IMPACT  This  piece  of  artistic  expression  will  represent  a  mixture  of  the  culture  of  Seton  Hill  University  and  the  changing  Greensburg  community.  Not  only  will  this  increase  the  feeling  of  unity  between  the  university  and  the  community,  it  will  also  boost  the  residency  in  the  city  because  of  the  beautification  of  the  area

Proposed  Design    This  design  represents  the  spirit  of  artistic  expression  in  the  city  of  Greensburg  and  the  involvement  of  the  student  population  in  the  community.
