CONFERENCE DESCRIPTIONThe 28th Annual Amazing Newborns conference, titled The Art of Newborn Assessment is aimed at providing healthcare professionals tools and skills to assess complex issues in neurobiology, renal complications, genetic conditions and endocrinology. Additionally, breakout sessions will focus on helping nurses effectively assess for neonatal abstinence syndrome, as well as focus on simulation training for neonatal resuscitation. We will also continue to focus on helping families in crisis maintain a safe home for their newborns to go home to.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVESAt the conclusion of this conference, the participant should be able to:1. Perform effective assessment of the newborn to determine need for higher level of care and diagnosis.2. Apply strategies to help recognize families in crisis and timely interventions to maintain family cohesiveness.3. Apply concepts of effective organization and feedback in the simulation setting to facilitate learning.

CONFERENCE DESCRIPTIONThe 28th Annual Amazing Newborns conference, titled The Art of Newborn Assessment is aimed at providing healthcare professionals tools and skills to assess complex issues in neurobiology, renal complications, genetic conditions and endocrinology. Additionally, breakout sessions will focus on helping nurses effectively assess for neonatal abstinence syndrome, as well as focus on simulation training for neonatal resuscitation. We will also continue to focus on helping families in crisis maintain a safe home for their newborns to go home to.
