When we explain hard aspects or the nodal structure, our client may receive validation of their life experiences, and awareness of the

need to integrate the energies, but often can’t translate the chart’s wisdom to meaningful change. Evolution is elusive. This track will take your chart synthesis and consulting skills to a new level so that you are able to quickly identify core issues, listen between the lines to your client’s concerns, and feel comfortable guiding your client through transformational processwork based on psychosynthesis philosophy. You’ll learn to clarify your intuition, work with planetary subper-sonalities and support the client’s emotional process. ARLAN WISE Writing Workshop for Astrologers

During our three sessions together we will learn basic journal-ism techniques as we have fun doing exercises to practice “translating”

astrological events and symbolism into plain English. We will write longer pieces on various topics, read our work to each other, discuss the pieces of writing without criticizing, and help each other discover and gain confi-dence in our writing strengths. We will encourage each other to start/contin-ue/finish our personal writing projects. The goal for the track is that by the end of the conference we will each have an article to submit for publication. All levels

ONER DOSER Traditional Prediction Techniques – Profections, Firdaria, and Solar Returns

We will be studying about the highly accurate Prediction Techniques Profection, Firdaria, and Solar Return charts. The

study will include both theory and practice of the techniques on the charts of the participants with a focus on the use of Whole Sign house system. We will focus each day on one of the techniques and explore its principles and results. Intermediate, Advanced

DONNA YOUNG Hand Drawing the Chart: The foundation of Astrology

Learn to draw a chart by hand. Knowledge of chart calculation is required for certifica-tion with NCGR. AFA and ISAR, but even if

certification isn’t your goal, under-standing how a chart is built will ground you to the chart in a more solid way. Participants who would success-fully complete the assignment would be granted a KEPLER COLLEGE pass in the Level I Math class. They would only have to pay a small material fee if they decided to take level II. The Kepler diploma already gives people an automatic NCGR Level III so we know it’s on par with their expectations. Horary captures a short space of time when a matter is pressing and requires an immediate answer. It is the art of judgment in a moment

of time. Learn when to ask and where to locate the question; to employ all the basics of everything you ever learned, perhaps even forgotten and yet to learn in delineating a chart. PEER GROUP PROCESS These tracks offer OPA’s trademark and unique learning process where participants go through peer-group work to refine their skills as profession-al astrologers. Together, we discuss the different issues of our profession, analyze each other’s charts, and reflect on possible problematic episodes that have emerged during our practice and client work. The advantage of this program is that it allows participants to express their own unique style, while at the same time evaluating skills, talents, and techniques in a much more precise manner, all essential in the practice of professional astrology. The develop-ment of self-knowledge is an equally important part of the curriculum. We will explore how we each plan to enhance our professional practice as astrologers, creating a business plan with goals we hope to achieve in the coming year. Participation in this track is a step toward becoming certified in OPA’s Certification Program. Practicing Astrologers
