Based on the assumption that people give their energy and lend their resources to what matters most to them – in work as in life – the Art of Hosting blends a suite of powerful conversational processes to invite people to step in and take charge of the challenges facing them. Purpose: The purpose of this training is to gather people longing to find new ways of working collaboratively, to move beyond ‘hero’ leadership towards a participatory approach, which involves everyone in the creation of the solution. About the workshop: This is an introductory workshop about skill building, practicing and exploring participatory leadership approaches and concepts. Over the 3 days you will: Experience a rich participatory learning environment, hosted by a team of international, interstate and local practitioners with extensive and diverse experience. Explore hosting conversations as a core leadership practice and skill sets for leading change in complex systems. Develop knowledge and competence in interactive processes that support participatory leadership, Open Space Technology - Appreciative Inquiry - Circle - World Café - Pro-action Café.
