1 The Art Institute of California, a college of Argosy University Undergraduate Studies Transfer Agreement with Santa Rosa Junior College The Art institute of California, a college of Argosy University (“The Art Institute”), with offices at 3601 West Sunflower Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92704-7931 and Santa Rosa Junior College (Institution), with offices at 1501 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401 have entered into this Transfer Agreement (“Agreement”) for the transfer of credits to benefit those students who have completed coursework, a Certificate program and/or an Associate degree and wish to pursue a Bachelor degree at one of the following Art Institute’s of California; The Art Institute of Hollywood, The Art Institute of Inland Empire, The Art Institute of Los Angeles, The Art Institute of Orange County, The Art Institute of Sacramento, The Art Institute of San Diego, The Art Institute of San Francisco and/or The Art Institute of Silicon Valley. Transfer Agreement The Art Institute and Institution agree to the following: The Art Institute and Institution will draft and maintain Course Transfer Guides, as an addendum to this Agreement, which identifies the Institution courses which satisfy specific course, general education or unrestricted elective requirements at The Art Institute. Under this Agreement, students who complete the courses listed on the Course Transfer Guide, with a grade of “C” or better, will receive transfer credit for those courses that are required in the chosen program of study at The Art Institute. Students who transfer to The Art institute prior to completion of their Associate degree from the Institution will have their transcript reviewed on a course-to-course equivalency basis. Students must meet the admission and bachelor degree requirements for the academic year in which they are admitted. Please refer to The Art Institute academic catalog http://www.artinstitutes.edu for complete admissions and program requirements. Students are required to submit an official transcript from Institution in order to complete the transfer of applicable credit. The Art Institute and Institution shall review and update the Course Transfer Guide as necessitated by curriculum changes by either party. Confidentiality Any information shared between the parties which by their nature should be reasonably understood by the receiving party as confidential or proprietary information, shall remain confidential. Marketing The Art Institute and Institution will work together to promote this Agreement to the participants which may include on-site events and distribution of marketing materials. The parties may utilize each others trademarks in connection with promoting the Agreement, provided the other party pre-approves such use; neither party shall gain any right, title or interest in any name or trademark of the other party. Termination and Modification This Agreement is effective upon the date of the last signature and shall remain in effect for one year. Thereafter, this Agreement shall automatically renew for additional one year term(s) unless either party provides thirty (30) days written notice prior to the end of the current term to the other party of its intent to not renew. In addition, either party may terminate this Agreement for any reason, or no reason, by providing ten (10) days written notice to the other party. This Agreement is subject to change or modification by mutual written consent between the parties. Any provisions of this Agreement which remain to be performed or by their nature would be intended to be applicable following the expiration or termination of this Agreement shall survive the expiration/termination of this Agreement.

Transfer Agreement with Santa Rosa Junior College
