The colorful and artistic approach of The Art Floating Market is what makes it unique, unlike all other traditional Thai floating markets. The Art Floating Market creates a harmonious blend between art and nature. Situated in Klangdong Pakchong, Nakhon Ratchasima, the market is surrounded by charming ponds and streams and shaded by big trees. All around, we will see many different artworks, sculptures and folk art along with brightly colored flowers, all of which uplift the ambiance of the market. Looking over to the pond, we see Thai rowboats that have been restored and colorfully painted. Spicy Tom Yum Noodles and Thai milk tea are sold on these boats. Other kinds of Thai-Isan food like Somtum, grilled chicken wings and Korat fried noodles are also available at the market. Besides Thai food, the market also offers the option of Western culinary, which can be found at De Lekker Grill & View, where customers find juicy steaks and spaghetti. What’s more is coffee shop, Café Kaldi that resembles a glass-walled cottage right in the middle of many big trees and surrounding stream, giving a nice little spot to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.

The Art Floating Market creates a harmonious blend between art and nature. Situated in Klangdong Pakchong, Nakhon Ratchasima, the market is surrounded by charming ponds and streams and shaded by big trees. Apart from delicious food and treats, there are also creative activities to do here. People can enjoy Folk Art classes at The Art Studio or get their hands on one of the cute little clay dolls at Wad Chan Studio and paint them anyway they like. Customers will also find different kinds of handcrafted souvenirs, including hand-woven bags and hats, ceramic pieces and hand-painted mailboxes at the market’s gift shop or Silalak Gift Shop, located next to The Art Studio. Moreover, fresh fruits and vegetables from the local farmers are sold here.

The Art Floating Market is a fun and interesting destination for those who love art and nature, opening on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are looking for a break, why not pay a visit and experience the artistic getaway for yourself.
