Registration

• A team is organized based on to different school, i.e., all

the members must come from same school.

• Each team can include 3 to 6 members, 1 instructor and 1

leader.

• All team members must be university students during the

whole process of competition.

• A team can be divided into pure undergraduate group

and including graduate group. Scoring standards will be

different.

• Registration can be finished online in the official website :

(www.scut.edu.cn/sdn).

• The list of members can be changed until the registration

deadline.

Preliminary Round

• Online mode.

• Topic announcement.

• Answer submission to the official website, in the

form of technical documentation and simulation

or video presentations online.

• Will be determined by the expert who will enter

into the final stage.

• Preliminary results will not be brought into the

final stage.

Finals

• The finals will be held by on-site mode.

• All teams members should come to competition site.

• Included:

– theoretical test，the proportion in total score is 20%

– live demonstrations and defense, which is reviewed

Expert committee, the proportion in total score is 80%

• Some well-known internet companies will be invited

to send their experts to attend the finals.

• Some foreign experts attend the review using the

remote mode through internet.

Awards

• First,Second,Third prizes (Group): totally 30 teams

– rank by the final scores(teams with same score tied for the prize).

– first prize will have 5 teams, second prize will have 10 teams, and third prize

will have 15 teams.

• Best Creative Award (Group): 2 teams

– best creative designs in the final competitive interview.

• Most Promising Award (Group): 1 team

– will be presented to 1 team with excellent work whose members are all junior

undergraduates.

• Theory Prize (Personal): 3 persons,

– the best 3 ranked in the final theory test (persons with same score tied for the

prize).

• Winning Prize (Group): 30 teams

– it will be presented to the 31～60 ranked in the preliminary contest.
